While Yaletown is a metropolis wonderland, there’s a park that offers a short yet lovely retreat from the buzzing neighborhood. After all, we need to inject a natural landscape interlude into our time here and there.

In fact, this spot invites pedestrians to escape the fast-paced urban life and take a seat at one of the benches. Or better yet, one can even take a stroll and admire its natural wonders.

The farmcrest roast chicken stands as our go-to order that we adore because of its tender textures and flavorful juiciness.

While the broad range of menu options is raved about, people also love its charming space, which is why it has become a location for intimate dinners, birthday celebrations, wedding receptions, and even wedding ceremonies!

This charming establishment exudes a welcoming vibe, providing a platform where people can hang out with the delicious aroma of coffee beans wafting through the air.

We thoroughly enjoyed their latte because it allows you to enjoy the creamy sensations without losing the bitter espresso taste. They certainly managed to concoct the perfect ratio of milk and espresso.

And true enough, ordering a bowl made our taste buds tingle with delight. Every sip of the broth feels indulgent, coating our palate with every tantalizing sip.

The noodles were surprisingly thin, but we didn’t mind. That said, it would be nice to have a thicker option.

They also have beers available for purchase, which is a nice drink to accompany your ramen.

12. Try a vegan pizza at Ignite Pizzeria

Address: 987 Mainland St, Vancouver, BC V6B 1S3, Canada

Operating hours:

  • Monday to Thursday – 11 AM to 9 PM
  • Friday and Saturday – 11 AM to 11 PM
  • Sunday – 11 AM to 10 PM

Ignite Pizzeria is another one of our go-to spots when we find ourselves in Yaletown. This is especially true among our vegan colleagues who still want to try the popular Italian dish while still following their diet.

Their pizza flavors are divided into three categories – herbivore, carnivore, and of course, vegan. You can spot several classics under herbivore like margherita and four formaggi – both of which were fantastic.

The carnivore options are where you’ll find the protein-packed flavors like bbq chicken and pepperoni.

The vegan menu only has three options, but they were all quite good and much recommended.
