With the way the ozone layer is acting up these days, stepping out just to catch a breeze doesn’t cut it anymore. I still miss that cool, natural wind, but it’s just not the same anymore.
And with heat stroke being a real threat, getting an aircon isn’t just a luxury anymore. It became essential. We just have to find the best one to get a good deal.
If you’re sweating it out like I was, keep on reading. Our team went around Vancouver to check out which aircon installation services are worth calling.
How much do aircon installation services cost in Vancouver?
Aircon installation in Vancouver typically costs between $3,000 and $6,000.
It all depends on the unit type, home size, and installation complexity.
1. Western Pacific HVAC

Address: 1990 Pandora St
Phone: +1 604-245-9451
Business hours:
- Monday to Sunday: Open 24 hours
Western Pacific HVAC has a great team. They left quite a good impression on some clients we’ve spoken with.
One condo owner told us how Bryce and Connor came up with smart solutions to fit the indoor AC unit without compromising space and aesthetics. That kind of problem-solving is great when you’re dealing with tight layouts and existing structures.
Their installations were clean and well-executed from start to finish. We didn’t hear any complaints about messes left behind or sloppy ductwork.
What really stood out to us, though, was their customer support after the installation. They offer a Season Saver Membership for $289/year, which includes regular AC tune-ups and priority service. It’s a solid deal if you want to avoid breakdowns.
We looked into their maintenance packages, and we liked how they go the extra mile. Besides basic servicing, they also do coil cleaning, thermostat checks, and even check carbon monoxide levels.
On the pricing side, we found them transparent. You get clear quotes before any work starts, with no hidden costs. They might be on the higher side compared to others, but with the great feedback we’ve heard, we think they’re worth it.
We’re very pleased with the results
“Western Pacific installed a heat pump and aircon in our condo. We are very pleased with the results and highly recommend Western Pacific. Everyone from Trevor, Shannon, Kelly, Bryce and Connor was very responsive, professional, personable and patient with our multiple questions. Bryce and Connor were creative in finding solutions to any issue and were such an easy team to work with. After the installation was complete, they are still helping us with our questions. Would hire them again in a second! Thank you, Western Pacific!”

2. Eco Pro Heating & Cooling

Business hours:

One of the things that caught our attention about Eco Pro is their 3-year in-house warranty. This covers both parts and labor, which is much longer than most companies offer.
We also like their “100% right or 100% free” policy. This means they’ll keep fixing things at no extra cost until the problem is solved.
Several customers have already experienced it and shared it with us. They were very impressed by how the company sent technicians back at no extra charge to fix any follow-up issues after installation.
However, one thing to keep in mind is that their rates are a bit higher than average. While the higher cost might be a concern for some, their clear pricing and extra perks can help make the cost feel more justified.
Their team of certified technicians is also impressive. We talked with a customer who had an AC installed in their older home. He said he was really impressed by how the team handled the tricky installation process.
Despite the challenges of installing the unit in a home that wasn’t built for modern HVAC systems, the team handled it well, and everything worked smoothly in the end.
The workmanship was top tier
“Got an air conditioner installed in my home, works great, and the workmanship was top tier. They went through lots of difficult tasks due to my house being from the 40s, but it all worked out well. Thanks, guys!”

3. Total Line Heating and Air Conditioning Ltd.

Address: 901 3rd St W Unit 342

Business hours:
- Monday to Friday: Open 24 hours
- Saturday: 9 AM – 5 PM
- Sunday: 9 AM – 3 PM
Total Line’s customer service is impressive. Most of the customers we’ve interviewed said every technician showed up right on time. They were also super accommodating with last-minute schedule changes.
The technicians are trained to treat homes with respect. Across the board, we noticed how carefully they worked. They wore shoe covers, laid down drop cloths, and even vacuumed afterward.
A customer mentioned that they had a toddler napping during the service visit, and the techs kept noise to a minimum. We appreciate that kind of awareness.
Pricing is another area where they hit the mark. We got a few quotes from other companies for comparison, and they came in fairly. It’s not cheap, but also not overpriced.
If we had to be a little picky, we’d say their popularity can make it a bit tough to get a last-minute appointment. One of ours had to be pushed back a few days.
But honestly, that just shows how in-demand they are. It’s not really a dealbreaker, especially since their follow-through and quality more than make up for the wait.
Very satisfied with my AC installation
“Very satisfied with my AC installation, hahaha. Can’t wait for the summer to hit. I have been looking for a great deal and I finally got it. Thank you, rays.”

Address: 3433 E 25th Ave
Phone: +1 604-737-2603
Business hours:
- Monday to Sunday: Open 24 hours
Milani has over 65 years of experience, and it shows how professional and knowledgeable their technicians are.
We liked how their team doesn’t just install and run. They explain maintenance tips in plain language, which helps people avoid future problems. It’s a small thing, but it shows they care about the customer’s long-term experience.
We also heard from a former customer about one of their technicians, Bedrand. Despite tight spacing issues, he worked around them with care and precision to find a smart spot for an outdoor AC unit. He also made sure to keep them informed at every stage.
This kind of service really impressed us and made us realize the reasons why they’ve built such a strong reputation for years now.
That said, Milani isn’t the cheapest option out there. Their prices are a bit on the higher side, which might give some people pause. But they’re very upfront about it.
They even offer free estimates and explain the cost breakdown clearly to avoid surprise charges.
Very grateful for their team
“The AC unit in our small business in North Van broke down last Thursday on the hottest day of our recent heat wave. I called around, and Milani was the only one who could send someone on the same day. It was essential that we have it done the same day. They sent a very handy technician who was extremely polite with our staff. He located our condenser out back and fixed our unit quickly. Our staff and store manager told us he was very professional, so it looks like we’ll be sticking with Milani for our cooling and heating needs. Very grateful for their team.”

Excellent service from start to finish
“Milani provided excellent service from start to finish with the AC install. At the outset, furnishing information and options and answering questions to help with making an informed decision regarding equipment and location of AC units, scheduling a timely install, and then throughout the entire installation process…”

5. Vanheat Heating and Air Conditioning Services

Address: 145 Chadwick Ct #220
Phone: +1 604-281-4790
Business hours:
- Monday to Sunday: Open 24 hours
Vanheat Services handles both residential and commercial jobs, and one of the things that stood out to us was how technical they are about their work.
Their engineering team doesn’t just install AC units. They actually calculate what size is best, check airflow, and make sure every component is chosen based on the specific space. It’s not a one-size-fits-all approach, which we appreciate.
It’s impressive to know that their technicians are licensed and familiar with both old and new systems. Plus, they back everything with a 10-year parts warranty.
We also find their preventative maintenance program helpful. They track when your system needs a tune-up and reach out to book a visit. It’s a helpful way to make sure your AC doesn’t break down during peak summer heat.
One customer story really stuck with us. He called Vanheat, not knowing much about AC. He said Shaun was patient and easy to talk to. He gave honest advice without any pressure, so it felt more like talking to a helpful friend than a pushy salesperson.
That said, not all experiences are good. Some people complained about reaching out and not getting a callback or follow-up. It seems like their communication isn’t always reliable, even though some say they’re great at it.
Would recommend these guys to anyone!
“Our previous AC installer had ghosted us completely for months. VanHeat was there for an assessment on the day of, and within the week, they were installing a unit they recommended. Besides professionalism, friendliness, and reliability, they recommended an electrician that we will likely use in the future. We’re now blasting cool in the house and would recommend these guys to anyone!”

Vanheat was great to deal with
“Vanheat was great to deal with. We needed to get a new furnace, and also decided to get an AC. Shaun clearly explained how the installation process would work and answered all of my questions. Plus, he was always on-site when the work was happening to make sure that everything went smoothly, which it certainly did. We’re very happy with our decision to use Vanheat and would highly recommend their services to anyone.”
