After too many floral fails involving more apologies than appreciation, I enlisted the rest of the Waterview Vancouver writing team to help me look into florists with top-notch flower delivery.
We’ve done the research (and ordered a few bouquets) to bring you the best flower delivery Vancouver has to offer. So ditch the floral flops and finally send a gift that arrives looking effortlessly stunning.
How much does it cost to have flowers delivered in Vancouver?
It costs at least 35 CAD to have flowers delivered in Vancouver.
However, this is just an estimate. The total cost will depend on the type of flowers, any extra gift add-ons you choose, and other factors.
1. Celsia Florist Vancouver

Celsia Floral sets itself apart with a botanical-inspired, full-service approach. In addition to the usual Valentine’s and everyday flower arrangements, we love that they offer wedding and event flowers.
Another thing we like is that they aim for a more curated design aesthetic in their bouquets.
While many florists stick to cut flowers, we love that Celia stocks a variety of plants, from orchids and tropicals to cacti and even money trees.
We also appreciate the convenience of their seven-day service. For orders placed before 1 PM, they even provide same-day delivery.
However, some customers told us that some of their same-day deliveries arrive outside the quoted time window. As a result, many found this to be inconvenient to their schedules.
Despite that, customers appreciate how the delivery drivers carefully wrap their bouquets to ensure the flowers remain undamaged.

Prompt delivery
“I ordered a small bouquet for my fiancee about four days in advance on the website. The delivery was prompt and beautiful upon arrival, with a nice balance of opened and soon to open flowers. The selections were bright and colorful which was exactly what I asked for! The card was written out beautifully too. There was no delivery window provided which would have made coordinating this surprise a little easier, but either way I am really happy with my delivery from Celsia. Will order again!”

Floba Flower Boutique handles everyday deliveries of full-scale floral decor for parties, events, and landscaping.
We love that they offer same-day delivery for flowers. The only caveat is that you must order before 11 AM on weekdays, so they can deliver it before 8 PM.
We also like their planned deliveries, with a 10 AM to 6 PM delivery window. This structure gives you a clearer idea of when to expect your bouquet.
The one thing we don’t like is that Floba limits its weekend deliveries. If you need a same-day delivery on the weekend, it’s not an option.
Despite this, we appreciate their flower subscriptions. They offer weekly or monthly plans with four deliveries included. What’s particularly appealing to us is that you can customize the plan to your needs.
Furthermore, everyone we spoke to loved that they offer fresh and dried flowers. They also have a preset bouquet for almost every occasion.

Canada Flowers stands out for their sheer choice. With over 1,500 arrangements, they aren’t kidding around. Whether you’re facing a last-minute birthday or just want to brighten someone’s day, they have a bouquet for almost any occasion.
Their flower subscription service is a nice touch for those who like to plan ahead. It allows customers to schedule regular, biweekly, or monthly flower deliveries. It’s a thoughtful service that eliminates the hassle of constantly reordering.
We also love that their same-day delivery is pretty reliable. Many of the customers we talked to said they deliver on their promised time, which isn’t always the case with other florists.
The fact that you can send these flowers anywhere adds to the convenience. Plus, if you want to personalize your gift, they offer vases and the option to include a written card.
However, we did hear recurring grumbling about the cards that come with the flowers. Several people mentioned that the handwriting on the cards is difficult to read, which defeats the purpose of a personal message.

If you’re the type who likes to bundle your flower arrangements alongside something extra, check out Flowers by Michael.
What first struck us was their large inventory of floral arrangements and plants. They have practically every floral niche covered—from birthday blooms, sympathy arrangements, weddings, and more.
For those wanting something a bit bougie, they even have silk and dried floral arrangements. If you want a gift that lasts, their plants and European dish gardens make a great alternative to traditional cut flowers.
We also appreciate their efficient ordering and delivery system. Their weekly delivery schedule with a 2 PM order cutoff keeps things predictable and takes the stress out of last-minute gifting.
However, they don’t send deliveries on Sundays, so you’ll have to look elsewhere for fresh flowers for a Sunday event.

After a really disappointing experience sending flowers to a friend in Vancouver (I’m located in Victoria) using a large commercial company, I was looking for a local florist and stumbled across Flowers By Michael Park online. Flowers on 1st immediately grabbed our attention with their delivery commitment. They offer local delivery seven days a week, which is a definite advantage for weekend events or last-minute needs.
What sets them apart is their specialization in deliveries to unique locations. They can even deliver flowers to all cruise ships leaving for Alaska, making it easy to send flowers to loved ones away from home.
Similarly, we appreciate their hospital flower delivery service. They serve a wide range of Vancouver hospitals and offer everything from simple flowers to get-well balloons, chocolates, teddy bears, and more.
People love using the hospital flower delivery service to send complete care packages to their loved ones. Many told us it’s efficient and works well when they can’t personally visit.
However, we are not big on their phone customer service. Several people mentioned experiencing less-than-stellar service when they called. They told us the staff was unhelpful and sometimes curt.
