We love Comfort Upholstery’s use of high-density foam to enhance cushions for long-lasting usability. Many people told us that their dining chairs felt completely refreshed, even after years of use.
We also appreciate that they start working with you right away. They start you off with a clear discussion of the project and immediately assist you with choosing the proper fabrics.
Their seven-step process involves everything from stripping the old upholstery down to the final inspection. We think the attention to detail really shows in the results.
Another thing we like is the convenience. You can just email a photo of your furniture to get an exact estimate, which saves a lot of time.
And their turnaround is reasonable too! Most couches take one to two weeks, depending on the fabric and style.
The only downside noticed is that custom and harder-to-find fabrics can slow things down. In those cases, projects may stretch to a few weeks, so a little patience is required.

We also appreciate how they bring that same level of quality RVs and boats. Their use of marine fabrics means interiors can stand up to the sun and moisture.

Cushions were ready on time as promised
‘Kari was great to deal with. We were looking for new cushions for the salon of our new to us 1980’s boat with very tired and dated orange dralon covers. We discussed options with Kari, I measured and remeasured took the tired old cushions to her and selected foam and fabric. She was very quick to call us, literally 45 minutes later when our first choice would not be available and we went with an second option. We had a second video call to go through the measurements as well. Cushions were ready on time as promised, very quick turn around of 2.5 weeks. Collected them and then found that a error had occurred and two cushions were significantly too small. Mistakes happen, it’s how the supplier responds that counts and Kari was great. Owned the mistake and went out of her way to get it fixed in 24 hours. We couldn’t be happier with her response and the final result is great. Thank you Kari for your fantastic service. “Sean did an amazing job on my dashboard! In the process of replacing my air vent, I have damaged the plastic badly which was terribly upsetting as I just bought this car. I decided to look into VLC Upholstery and have read the reviews as they seemed positive. I was unsure at first and have contacted multiple upholstery repair companies which most have responded late and with unreasonable pricing. Sean at VLC was very prompt and professional with his service. He responded quickly to my concerns and within the first 5 minutes of our conversation, I was given a reasonable quote and have scheduled a date for him to come do the repair. He sent me a confirmation message the day before just to assure me that we are still set. The repair on my dashboard and air vent took a reasonable amount of time and honestly right now, I can’t even tell that it was even damaged! My old Rav4 1998 feels like it came brand new out of the car showroom! “Sean is the best of the best. After having after market lights installed in my brand new QX80 truck the installer got super glue on 3 of my seats, then used acetone to try and get it off lifting the leather right off one of the seats. To say I was upset was an understatement. After doing some research, I was referred to Sean. I am SO THANKFUL. I was very nervous and I wanted everything exactly how it was when I drove it off the lot a month ago and he delivered. It was perfection. Like it never happened. The only thing we didn’t like was that if you have an exceptionally specialized project, it may require a longer turnaround time to get the look you want.
