Stepping into a truly intentional wellness space completely changes how you experience contrast therapy.
AetherHaus beautifully blends Slavic and Nordic sauna culture with a modern West Coast feel. They focus heavily on hospitality, offering guided rituals like Aufguss alongside a Himalayan salt sauna and group plunge pools.
You can easily choose between a silent, introspective visit or a casual, social session depending on your mood.
They handle almost everything for you, supplying towels, shower products, and secure lockers. This level of care makes it arguably the most seamless and elevated routine available in the city.
Just remember that phones are strictly prohibited, which might annoy you if you need to stay connected.
Vibe is super relaxing
This space is done incredibly well with a lot of little extra perks. The sauna gets really hot, cold plunge cold and the vibe is super relaxing. They have a variety of different sessions and sometimes special guests/performances. All the hosts are super friendly and bring their own styles to the space, keeping each visit a bit fresh and unique. I’ve never left AetherHaus disappointed.

The space itself is so inviting
AetherHaus is easily my favorite Sauna and cold plunge spot in the lower mainland. The space itself is so inviting and the guides (especially France) are more than capable of welcoming you in and getting you acclimated for your session. I love the variety of session options from more social and involved to the silent and introspective. I also appreciate that they offer clothing optional sessions for those that like to sweat more freely!
I would love to see the more clothing optional sessions offered later in the evenings or on weekends. Thanks for being such a lovely place.

2. Tality Wellness Kitsilano

Website: https://www.talitywellness.ca/locations/kitsilano
Address: 3719 W Broadway
Contact: 604-359-7758
Hours: Sunday-Thursday, 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM | Friday-Saturday, 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Tality Wellness Kitsilano features a 30-person traditional sauna hitting up to 90°C. Their cold plunges, on the other hand, drop down to 3–11°C, offering a serious chill for anyone chasing that post-workout rush.
I dropped by last month with a few friends, and having unlimited kombucha on tap completely elevated the social vibe. You also get access to relaxing indoor and outdoor lounges to catch your breath between rounds.
Best of all, they provide robes and towels, so you can pack light. Just keep in mind that the transparent windows in the design feel a bit odd if you prefer total privacy.
Definitely the best sauna/cold plunge experience
Wow!! I’d give 10 stars if I could. The service from Nathan and the entire team was stellar, the space was gorgeous and so social. The drinks were amazing and the system felt seamless and welcoming. I’m so grateful to Tality for building community alongside wellness, the energy was deeply positive and encouraging. Definitely the best sauna/cold plunge experience I’ve had in Vancouver! I really appreciated the selection of essential oils and the friendly generosity of everyone I encountered. Thank you Tality Kits for providing such an incredible space for connection, healing, joy, and fun!

A great experience with a comfortable lounging area
Tried out Tality for the first time with their first time members 2 week unlimited membership (which is an amazing deal!) and loved my time here.
I didnt know how well my body would take to the sauna/cold plunge combo but the vibe and atmosphere made it a great experience with a comfortable lounging area and two saunas to choose from. I also appreciated having slippers provided to use.

3. Orijin Restore

Website: https://orijinrestore.com/
Address: 3665 Kingsway
Contact: 778-375-5545
Hours: Tuesday, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM & 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM | Thursday, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM & 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM | Saturday, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Nothing beats the smell of a custom-built cedar sauna at Orijin Restore, especially one featuring Homecraft stones sourced straight from Whistler.
This quiet spot keeps its sessions small, capping visits at just eight guests on a covered patio with beautiful mountain views. The 90-minute time slot is a huge perk, giving you plenty of time to cycle through the heat and the continuously filtered cold plunge.
I love that they supply practically everything you need, including bathrobes, slippers, and tea for your visit.
However, regular sessions are co-ed by default, which might be a drawback if you want a gender-specific environment. You’ll also need to book ahead since walk-in availability is rarely guaranteed.
The staff are really nice
first time to do cold plunge!hard but interesting!
i came because my hamstring strain, I heard that some athletes do sauna & cold plunge to promote faster recovery. The staff are really nice. The temperature of the two cold bath are 4 and 10 degrees.

Definitely will come back again
Just had my first experience, I always see pro athletes do ice bath for fast recovery and always want to see how it feels. I’ve been training very intense for the past several months and my body really needs a good restoration. Hard to believe but I felt asleep in the sauna. The cold plunge is very challenging, but managed to stay inside for a minute, I can feel my breath was cold after that. A very nice experience, I had a very good nap after got back home, definitely will come back again

4. Float House Vancouver

Website: https://floathouse.ca/

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM | Friday, 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM | Saturday-Sunday, 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
For those who value absolute privacy, booking a 100% private hot-cold therapy room is the ultimate luxury.
Float House Vancouver pairs a private 3–10°C cold plunge directly with a full-spectrum infrared sauna that reaches 75°C. You get the entire space to yourself for 60 minutes, allowing you to cycle through the temperatures at your own pace.
You won’t have to share a tub with strangers, making it a stellar option for busy professionals who want to disconnect.
The only frustrating part is that towels cost an extra fee, so you have to bring your own or pay up. Also, booking an infrared session can be tough since they fill up fast.
I felt very taken care of
I tried my first Hot and Cold plunge and it was a fantastic experience!! The water is ice cold 🥶🥶🥶 and the sauna gets your blood pumping 🥵 The post experience sitting/tea area is very thoughtful as it is a great place to relax and meditate, or talk to others about your experience. I was fortunate to be helped by Stu who was very knowledgeable and friendly! I felt very taken care of. 🥰

They have a lounge where you can relax, a sauna, cold plunge, floating tanks, and they even offer tea, water and electrolytes so you can stay hydrated. If you’re thinking about going I’d 100% recommend it.

If sharing a tub sounds awful, Regen Recovery positions itself firmly against communal spaces. They provide fully equipped private rooms for every single appointment, ensuring you never have to deal with strangers.
Your private room comes stocked with towels, tea, and even a wet bag for your swimsuit. You can easily book a 60-minute block and park for free in their parkade.
A friend and I checked this spot out last week, and getting to bring a guest for free made it incredibly affordable.
The only downside is that the environment isn’t perfectly silent, so you might hear staff talking in the nearby hallways.
The sauna and cold plunge were incredible
Absolutely loved my experience here! The sauna and cold plunge were incredible, and the entire facility was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully organized. The staff provided exceptional service and made the experience even more enjoyable. I also really enjoyed the tea—it was such a nice touch after the session. I left feeling refreshed and relaxed, and I can’t wait to come back to try their other recovery services. Highly recommend!

I truly enjoyed our private cold plunge and sauna
I truly enjoyed our private cold plunge and sauna — it made for a memorable celebration of a special occasion. The relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff enhanced the experience.
To make the private room even better, I suggest adding a garbage bin and a tea table so we can conveniently place our drinks on it while unwinding on the chairs.
There’s the convenience of free underground parking as well as paid street parking.
