The 5 Best RV Dealers in Vancouver for Comfortable Road Trips

best-rv-dealers-vancouver
We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.
  • Honest Sales People: We hunted for dealerships where the staff actually listen to customers—no ”let me talk to my manager” theatrics or trying to convince you that you need an RV bigger than your apartment.
  • Solid Selection: A great dealership should have everything from shiny new rigs to pre-loved classics. We skipped any place where the selection is just one lonely RV and a few tumbleweeds rolling by.
  • Service: We made sure these dealerships offer real support after you roll off the lot. We verified with customers if they had maintenance and repair work available to them.
  • Pricing: We picked dealerships that are upfront about their prices. We interviewed buyers and asked them if they had any surprise fees.

Ever tried buying an RV? If so, you know it’s not as simple as picking out a new pair of shoes. Honestly, finding the right RV is more than just getting one with four wheels and a decent bed.

Ideally, you’d want to find an RV with weatherproofing solutions to survive Vancouver roads and one that actually fits in your driveway. But with so many dealerships promising the “best deals”, it’s easy to feel lost before you even hit the road.

That’s why we’ve done the legwork for you. We narrowed down the best RV dealerships in Vancouver—places that have services you can count on long after you leave the lot.

How much does it cost to get an RV in Vancouver?

It costs at least 10,000 CAD to buy an RV in Vancouver. To rent an RV, it costs at least 40 CAD a day. These prices are just estimates. The actual prices will change depending on the RV you buy and the dealership.

If you’re the kind of buyer who wants to compare every option before making a decision, Traveland RV SuperCentre is basically your Disneyland. With over 1,200 rigs lined up, they offer more variety than most dealers in the region.

From gleaming Airstreams to family-sized Jayco trailers built for road trips, it’s hard not to find something that fits your needs.

Their website is a rabbit hole of virtual tours and videos of their RV selection. As for their in-person service, there’s always someone ready to pounce (in a friendly way) with answers.

Service-wise, they’ve got the facilities to handle just about anything you throw at them—oil changes, collision repairs, warranty headaches, or even a custom paint job.

Now, a word to the wise: things can get a bit…leisurely, especially when everyone and their cousin needs repair work done before summer vacation.

A gentle follow-up call (or three) might be necessary if you’re on a tight schedule.

Still, the sheer variety, the mobile servicing option, and the never-ending stream of promos make Traveland a magnet for anyone who wants options or just loves the idea of test-driving an RV.

Pros

  • Over 1,200 RVs
  • Virtual RV tours and videos on website
  • Friendly in-person service
  • Handles plenty of repairs
  • Mobile service option
  • Tons of promos

Cons

  • Slow updates during repair work

Purchasing an RV was absolutely amazing

“From start to finish the entire staff and process of purchasing an RV was absolutely amazing!! Tony G was our sales person, he is super knowledgeable, friendly without feeling pressured. I would highly recommend going to Traveland for your purchase! After delivery they were quick to answer and questions and minor fixes needed – the onsite warranty is worth it! Thank you again everyone for making it worth the drive 🙂  MK2670”

The team helped us find the best model for us

“We recently purchased our first RV from Traveland and it was a breeze.  The team helped us find the best model for us and even accommodated us by working with their group in Duncan. Big shout out to Bill Jones who took the time to work with us!”

CanaDeam RV Rentals & Sales in Vancouver is basically made for you if you are new to the world of RVs.

The staff gives you a crash course in RV basics without making you feel like you missed the mark. They tell you everything you need to know about your RV, from the basic parts to how to maintain it.

We also love how easy it is to book an appointment to visit their showroom. Customers don’t have to decode any cryptic forms or call a “help” line that’s just a robot reading from a script.

The RVs themselves are not super fancy, but everything you need is there. People who rented all their RVs told us that while it was nice, the beds were a bit too firm and the kitchen was shabby.

But hey, if you’re watching your wallet  (cause who isn’t?), the journey rewards program is an awesome budget saver. People actually did a double take at the gas pump when they saw the discount kick in.

Pros

  • Crash course in RV basics
  • Easy booking
  • RVS have basic needs
  • Journey rewards program
  • Knowledgeable staff

Cons

  • Stiff RV beds

It was an fantastic driving and riding experience

“This is our first try on RV and it was an fantastic driving and riding experience with home-on-the-wheel.  The driving part was smooth and powerful, and the riding part was roomy and stable.  The linens and kitchen kits are clean,  varieties and sufficient.  The staff were helpful and friendly.  It is highly recommended for family with kids.  They all make us book again for our next vacation soon.”

Really appreciated the ability to finance our rental payments

“Amazing customer service! The best prices and insurance packages (we did a lot of research before committing to CanaDream). We really appreciated the ability to finance our rental payments, it allowed us to take a longer vacation! We rented the largest motor home available, which was spacious enough for our whole family. We were able to install 2 forward facing high back boosters. We had such a great time, thank you CanaDream!“

Operating Hours:

Website

Meridian RV center is perfect for anyone who wants options, real talk and a team that actually knows what they’re selling. Whether you’re a first timer or someone who needs a rolling garage for your ATVs, this place is basically an RV playground.

We really like that their sales team doesn’t just parrot specs. They actually walk you out to the lot and pop open a few doors so you can see the differences for yourselves.

We learned more from a 10 minute chat with their staff than we did from our time spent doom scrolling RV forums.

Their selection has variety: tiny teardrops for the minimalist crowd, beefy toy haulers for the adrenaline junkies, and a solid lineup of pre-love rigs that don’t look like they’ve survived a tornado.

We also really appreicate that Meridian’s techs tell clients straight up what needs fixing now and what can wait.

One thing to keep your eyes peeled for though is those under $199 a month deals. The deal usually applies to the smaller or more older unit so read the fine print.

Pros

  • Tons of RV options
  • Shows you the differences in RVs
  • Repair techs are honest and straight up
  • Repair work available

Cons

  • $199 a month deals only for smaller/older RVs

They have given us outstanding service

“We bought our Keystone Hideout trailer from Meridian RV in 2017 and for the last 8 years they have have given us outstanding service. Today Colleen in the parts and service department went above and beyond to help us with two issues. First she was able to show me how to restore power to a couple of plugs that weren’t working and then she was able diagnose and get our turn signals working as well. She did this all in about 15 minutes and had us on our way. Meridian RV always goes the extra mile to help their customers.”

The RV (medium-C) was super clean

“It wasa first time for us renting RV and this was truly a great experience. They were very welcoming and made the rental super easy.

The RV (medium-C) was super clean. It felt as new, nice fresh smell, everything clean, like new.

The RV drives a bit like a truck. It was first time for us to drive RV so it took a while to get used to.

Pumping gas at the station is a bit painful when you see the amount, so take this into account when budgeting RV rental.

The communication with rental company was easy and they were very helpful on every step. Even the return was done swiftly and with no problems.

Over all, very good rental, very well maintained and with easy and kind people.

Highly recommend.”

4. Dan’s Mechanical

dan-s-mechanical

Address: 1658 Main St, Vancouver

Contact Details: +1 888-859-1431

Operating Hours:

  • Monday to Friday – 10:30 AM to 4 PM
  • Saturday – 10:30 AM to 3 PM

Website

If you’d rather skip the hard sell and just get your hands on a reliable, pre-loved RV, Dan’s Mechanical is your kind of place. Dan’s is all about used rigs, from cozy camper RVs to hulking fifth wheels and everything in between.

What really sets Dan apart is the way they obsess over the guts and safety of each RV. Every unit gets a once-over for the stuff that actually matters—think brakes, bearings, roof leaks, and a full gas system check by Paul’s RV services (their sister company.)

But don’t expect to be dazzled by low-interest financing offers. If you need a loan for that vintage RV, you’ll have to sort it out yourself. They’re not in the business of creative payment plans—just straightforward deals.

Another thing many learned the hard way is that their inventory moves fast. If you’re eyeing something specific, we recommend using their online smart finder tool and calling them to check if they have it in stock before you drive out.

Pros

  • Online smart finder tool
  • Reliable pre-loved RVs
  • Obsesses over RV safety
  • Complete RV once over

Cons

  • Inventory sells out fast
  • No low-interest financing offers
  • No payment plans

The process was so easy

“Bought a 2004 rv from Dan back in 2019, I had been interested in a trailer for a while, called a few times about several different trailers and they were already sold, a few months later found one that both my wife and I liked, the process was so easy, he was a pleasure to do business with, I’d have to say the only thing we hated about the trailer was the jack on the hitch so I replaced it with a power jack and omg, I’ll never have a trailer without a power jack ever again, anyway we are are planning on going back to Dan’s to get our next trailer in the next few months and selling our current trailer to our daughter and and her little family.”

Great service from an expert in the industry

“Great service from an expert in the industry. You will be very happy with the experience from Dan’s. I know many people who have found their RV through Dan’s!”

5. North Shore RV Centre

north-shore-rv-centre

Address: 1128 15th St W, North Vancouver

Contact Details: +1 604-987-2827

Operating Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:30 AM to 5 PM

Website

North Shore RV center is for people who want honest repairs and practical advice. We love that the techs here are Red Seal-certified, which is basically the RVs world’s version of a black belt.

Whether your electrical system is broken or your roof has sprung a leak, they tackle it with the kind of steady confidence that makes you want to hand over your keys and just breathe.

We like how if you ask what’s wrong, they’ll walk you through it—no jargon, no eye rolling. Regulars appreciate that they’ll actually point out the problem in person, not just hand you a bill and shrug.

The parts store is pure function over flash. Need a fuse, a new pump, or some plumbing bits? You’ll find them lined up on the shelves, ready to go.

But if you’re hoping for a wall of shiny awnings or the latest in Bluetooth gizmos, you’ll need to special order—and yes, sometimes that means waiting a week or two.

Also, if you roll up in a 40-foot RV, you’re out of luck. North Shore caps service at 36 feet.

Pros

  • Red Seal certified
  • Honest repairs
  • Practical advice
  • Practical repair parts

Cons

  • Doesn’t stock the latest in tech
  • Special orders can take a while
  • Caps out service at 36 feet RVs

Incredible service

“Incredible service, the best priced out of all RV suppliers in the area. Phoned North shore RV several times needing help with figuring out what I wanted, they were super helpful every time. Finally picked a Norcold fridge and asked for quotes from 5 different stores and North shore was significantly cheaper than all of them. Ordered the fridge on a Tuesday picked it up on the Thursday. Amazing service. Highly recommend“

Great service and fairly priced!

“Great service and fairly priced! Keith and Brit-Marie (apologize for spelling) were very helpful and knowledgable. They took the time to answer all of my questions and provided good advice. I highly recommend this place!”
