Made a huge positive change in our family dynamic
“I had the best experience with this clinic. I recommend them because both me and my kids saw a counselor and a psychologist here and it made a huge positive change in our family dynamic. We have less fights and more enjoyable time together. Their admin team is professional and was empathetic to our hard situation. We experienced feeling welcome and well cared for at this office and I have already referred a few friends here for similar issues.”

Good system for a zoom call style
“I looked for proper therapeutic care for a long time and found a counselor here that I think is helping me talk though my past in a productive way. I am able to get appointments pretty often and it’s easy to make an appointment over the phone here. My husband is also thinking about coming to see this counsellor here too since she is helping me. They have a good system for a zoom call style with better quality too so I can actually see her face.”

Dr. Debbie is absolutely wonderful
“This place saved my life. Facing the scariest time in my life, and being let down by the Canadian health care system, I found myself with a recommendation to try the Wisemind Centre. I called other places who offered DBT (dialectical behavior therapy) to no avail. When I called Dr. Debbie, I got a response right away with care and compassion. I told her that I needed something to change in my life and within a couple of weeks, I had an appointment. That in itself was a small miracle. I took 6 months of group DBT and it was the smartest thing I could have done for my mental health. With the four modules broken down into bite-sized and actionable skills, it makes it easy to practice and apply. At first, it is extremely intimidating to walk into a class and talk about some of the things are are least proud of in your life. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Dr. Debbie is absolutely wonderful. She really cares and she has built an amazing team who delivers her message of love and urgency quite well. She has built a safe place for therapy, which I have never felt in any other place. The Wisemind Centre will always have a place in my happy, beating heart.”
