The people I spoke to couldn’t stop raving about the meticulous attention to detail and the pristine, clean finishes Maple Brothers Painting did on their homes. Whether it was an intricate trim job or a complete colour overhaul, Maple Brothers seemed to knock it out of the park every single time.
During my own initial consultation with Adam (one of their main painters), he didn’t shy away from making known their wide range of services, from critical drywall repair to masterful carpentry and the ever-daunting task of popcorn ceiling removal.
They have a lot of experience doing multiple renovation projects. Best of all, their pricing was consistently reasonable during consultation – I later got confirmation from others that this was the case for them too.
However, they only work within the central Richmond and Vancouver areas. Additionally, from what I’ve been told, there were longer-than-expected wait times for project kickoffs at busy times.

Right off the bat, they quickly got back to me to schedule a consultation. Kerry and Kelly had the kind of paint knowledge that made Google look like amateur hour.
They broke down the process, shared insights into the latest local trends, and overall, just made the whole planning phase feel like a breeze. It was clear they stand by thorough prep work – which, as someone who’s seen many DIY projects go sideways for lack of that, I appreciated.
However, during the consultation, there was this air of mystery around the final costs. A ballpark figure would’ve eased some of my ‘am I about to blow my budget?’ anxieties.
And while they use an in-house team for the sake of consistency, they weren’t exactly flexible schedule-wise. It was like a back-and-forth game of tag trying to get them to come out to my place.
At least in the end, their painting made my kitchen stylishly cutting-edge and not a wreck.

I recently spoke with someone who used Wonderwalls Painting to spruce up their office space.
From what I was told, getting the appointment set was kind of a hassle like playing Tetris with their calendars, but eventually, they locked an appointment in.
Once they got past that, though, Darren and his crew came through and absolutely killed it. Apparently, the office looked like it jumped straight out of a fancy design magazine.
And from what I heard, Wonderwalls Painting kept everything and treated the office as if it was their own space the entire project. They laid down drop cloths and made sure the place was spotless before they packed up for the day.
This seemed to be a common experience with Wonderwalls (everyone I talked to about them described the job in similar ways), so I went to check out some of their work for myself. The paint lines were so sharp even a perfectionist would nod in approval – I couldn’t find anything to complain about.

“This is an overdue review. The project was big about 6000 sqft house with lead filled paint and wallpaper. It took 7 days and 15 to 20 amazing workers, areas were blocked off the work done on the walls and ceilings… wow we had this dark green textured thick wallpaper and now beautiful white walls you can never tell once upon a time there was wallpaper. We were living inside the house while this work was being done, everyone on Jeanette’s team was awesome. I loved their work so much I gave them the exterior as well. They did an amazing job. Sure there were little hiccups along the way, but Jeannette and Walter were right there to sort it out and fix it…there was no nickel and diming me here which i love…I do need them to come back for a couple of things but I know when I reach out I am greeted with care and excitement. I was hesitant to give them this project as most reviews indicate smaller projects…I think communication is key I wish they did other work other than painting so I can invite them back for other renovation work.”
