For example, an annual tune-up led to reduced system noise, which greatly improved a client’s level of comfort.
Communication and response are noteworthy too. They deal with clients promptly, sometimes replying to messages within minutes. This makes them easy and hassle-free to contact for bookings or future follow-ups.

If the fix is simple, they can offer over-the-phone solutions too, saving customers time and money. What we appreciate here is the honesty without the pushy service tactics.
We appreciate the attention they give to everything. The job site is prepared safely, and the staff maintains respectful in-home behavior at all times. Their rates are fair too, averaging $150 to $180 depending on the scope of service.
Unfortunately, a few clients noted a few setbacks, particularly about coming into homes without certain tools (an extension cord, for example). It’s not a recurring issue on their end, so our opinion of them is still high.

The thing we loved the most about Ashton Service Group is the way they communicate. Often, providers lack openness to discuss everything, but not them. They explain findings quickly and offer step-by-step maintenance advice to prevent the issue.
This factor is complemented by their solid range of services. Some of their offerings include leak detection and repair, furnace installation, and full-scale repiping. They can also handle both large and small jobs,
Their service packages typically include same-day or next-day appointments, with an average of 1.5 hours of arrival window. The process is comprehensive, including thorough diagnostics and post-service support when needed.
One of their most compelling offerings is membership-based home maintenance, which provides routine inspections and priority booking. We find this valuable for many long-term clients who want to stick to one provider.
We just wish their post-installation support was stronger, as we encountered companies related to poor warranty repairs. At least, these instances are in the minority, though we still want to leave you with a heads-up.

Their speed with services is noteworthy, requiring only one visit most of the time. This enables clients to save a bit of cash, though in the general scale of things, their fees are reasonable.
We also appreciate the little touches, like them sending confirmation texts before appointments and updates when the technicians are en route. They arrive promptly with a good, respectful attitude that we like.
The company is especially strong on smaller-scale residential work, like fire pits, ranges, and outdoor BBQ lines. It takes them 60 to 90 minutes to complete a job, causing little to no disruptions to the household.
We did come across an issue wherein a client suffered significant damage post-service. This is a very rare case, though, and it is at least reassuring that they’re proactive in reaching out and addressing the issue.

Right off the bat, we loved McKellar’s upfront and transparent pricing. Their quotes include detailed breakdowns of parts and labor, so clients can rest assured that there are no hidden fees.
Like most of the providers on our top list, their service range is extensive. Their offerings cover BBQ boxes, gas cooktops, boiler installations, and more. Every service is consistent when it comes to workmanship, whether small or big.
Speaking of job scales, we appreciate their attention to detail during larger projects. For instance, they work on custom home builds (plumbing, heating, gas) and are always praised for clean and precise finishes.
Turnaround is fast. They either finish on time or even ahead of schedule. They also provide free estimates and guarantee their workmanship, which tells a lot about how confident they are with their work.
The one drawback we noted involved post-installation disputes, which seem to stem from a miscommunication. It’s an isolated case, but we recommend clarifying warranty terms, especially for larger jobs.
