Since I’ve been through the hassle, I figured why keep it to myself? So, I put together a list of trusted asphalt paving companies in Vancouver that we’ve gathered to save you from the same bumpy ride.
Consider this list a little heads up and a smoother path ahead.

Our team really liked how Burnaby Blacktop Ltd doesn’t do the same thing for every job. They customize their work based on the shape of the land, how water drains, and the local weather.
It’s really smart because Vancouver has a lot of rain and freeze-thaw cycles that can damage asphalt if it’s not done right.
We also appreciated that they keep their paving crew and equipment in-house rather than outsourcing. For us, this means control leads to better quality and consistency.
They offer a lot of services too, from new driveways and parking lots to fixing potholes and painting lines. Clearly, they’re a one-stop shop, which is very convenient for both homeowners and commercial clients.
However, there are some downsides. One customer we spoke to said they were promised a call from an estimator in two days, but had to wait a whole week. We don’t think it’s a recurring thing though, but still, it’s worth keeping that incident in mind.
On the plus side, they offer a two-year warranty on their work and materials to protect their customers. They also have financing options up to $100,000 for residential jobs, making it easier to pay for bigger projects.

We were particularly interested in Nasib’s Asphalt Paving’s specialty finishes, like stamped and colored asphalt. It’s not something we usually see in residential paving.
This shows that they’re thinking not just about function, but also about style. It’s especially useful if you want your driveway to match the look of your home.
They use modern equipment and top-quality materials, which usually means smoother finishes and fewer issues down the road. Several people can back this up. When we spoke to them, they mentioned that the finished surfaces looked great and held up well.
As for the team itself, they seem professional and efficient. People mentioned that they arrived on time, did the work quickly, and even cleaned up afterward.

3. S&S Asphalt Paving

S&S Asphalt Paving does a lot more than most paving companies. While some only work on residential driveways or commercial lots, they handle both, and they seem to do each one really well.
They even handle more technical work like trenching and saw cutting, for contractors. It’s nice to know that they can take on both small and large projects.
Their clients often mentioned the crew was skilled, professional, and organized. Skylar, who seems to be one of the leads, gets a lot of praise for being hands-on and helpful. Some people even said their projects were finished ahead of schedule.
If you’re working with a tighter budget, they might be a smart choice. Their prices are lower than some of the other companies we’ve looked into.
However, not everything is perfect. While most of the people we spoke to raved about the results, a few mentioned problems with cleanup after the job was done. There were reports about leftover debris.
If you’re considering hiring them, we suggest making a point to have a conversation about final site tidiness before signing off, especially if the work is being done close to your home’s exterior or garden.

Bros Paving is a great choice if you’re dealing with a last-minute paving job or a tricky terrain. They have over 45 years of experience in the business and offer 24/7 availability, so they really know the craft already.
They’re very hands-on with project management. Past customers often mentioned Arjun by name. He stays in touch throughout the project and doesn’t hesitate to step in when things get complicated.
In one case, a customer had a driveway issue caused by tree roots. Arjun showed up with a full crew the next day to clear it out and prep the area properly. That kind of follow-through isn’t something you get with every contractor.
We also liked that they use top-tier materials and modern equipment. It matters if you want the pavement to last, not just look good for a few months.
From what we can tell, they don’t rush their work. They stay on-site until everything meets their standards, even if that means putting in a bit of extra time.
However, if you’re on a tight schedule or coordinating with other home projects, it’s a good idea to discuss potential delays with them. Their thoroughness is a big plus for quality, but it might mean things take a little longer.

Vancouver’s weather can be brutal on asphalt, so investing in the right gear really matters, and they seem to understand that. From what we’ve seen and heard, their paving jobs look smooth and last well over time.
They also have a wide range of asphalt services. They don’t just do driveways and parking lots. They also offer seal coating, resurfacing, and even pothole and crack repair.
This makes them a strong choice for both residential and commercial projects, especially if you’re looking for a single company to manage installation and long-term maintenance.
We were also impressed by their commitment to long-term support. Too often, companies finish a job and disappear, but they check in with clients after completion. Some even mentioned regular maintenance plans.
That said, we did come across a few past clients who experienced some delays. It seems like they tend to focus more on commercial projects because they get a faster turnaround.
It’s something to keep in mind if you’re a homeowner looking to book them when they’re busy.
