We first heard about Long Life Windows & Doors because of their showroom. Gaining its popularity among Vancouver locals for their window designs and quick services, we figured we’d drop by and browse the place ourselves.
Once we got there, we were pleased to see how easy it was to navigate. Their window designs were all on full display, ranging from classic sliding windows to tilt and turn windows. Customers seemed to be able to find their way without assistance too.
When we chatted with some of them, the main praise we heard was for their time management. In particular, customers praised the flexible scheduling, with the team being able to accommodate even the tightest deadlines or sudden reschedules.
We asked about the installation services after. Customers were happy to report the team’s timeliness, arriving at discussed hours and finishing right on schedule. Some even finished earlier than expected!
That being said, these windows don’t come particularly cheap. A few regulars mentioned the high price tag making it difficult to have their windows replaced without planning a budget, like in an emergency.
Lastly, we also noticed limited materials at the shop. Long Life offers mostly just vinyl windows, so if that’s not your thing, we\d advise consulting with them if they have other materials before ordering.

Turning our attention to customer stories, we also heard praise for the speed of their installation services. As soon as customers get their windows, the team can arrive in short order and finish the installation just as quick.
On the other hand, customers mentioned wishing for the same timeliness in their design consultations, as these tended to get delayed on short notice.

Trust Glass’s offerings cover both residential and commercial windows, with a variety of materials, too. What got our attention was their custom glass repair and replacement, with the team accommodating requests like specific frame materials or tints.
All of these came at surprisingly affordable prices when we had a look. Customers we spoke to also vouched for the pricing, especially in emergencies when there isn’t enough time to plan a budget ahead.

If you’ve ever asked around for custom windows in North Vancouver, there’s a chance you might have already heard of Glass Doctor. Locals let us know about them for their custom glass products and window repair and replacement services.
As their name implies, Glass Doctor is home to various types of glass and windows. Their window services offered tinting alongside the usual repairs and replacement, and customers vouched for the quality of their tempered glass.
Intrigued, we reached out and got answers fairly quickly about their window types and materials. These included aluminum screens and pet-resistant polyester for especially playful pets, saving on headache for fur parents everywhere.
