Fight me on this: having a good mobile bar is usually what makes any event worth being at. But for event planners and businesses looking for a mobile bar, the right choice goes beyond the drink list.
A good mobile bar comes complete with trained bartenders, quality glassware, and all the mixers people could want. Plus, they double as a photo op.
So when I was planning my birthday party, I made sure to skip the average options. I researched, asked around, and compared options.
If you’re also hosting a party, here are the best mobile bars in Vancouver that are worth getting tipsy with!
How much does it cost to hire a mobile bar in Vancouver?
It costs at least $1,000 to hire a mobile bar for events in Vancouver. This is just an estimate. The actual price depends on the kind of bar, how many guests, and more.
1. Liquid Assets Professional Bartending Services

Address: 2455 W 2nd Ave
Contact Details: +17789969297
Operating Hours: Open 24 Hours
What I love most about Liquid Assets is how they go beyond just pouring drinks. They can also source chefs, DJs, or security through their network. That’s why I see them as less of a vendor and more of an extension of the event planning team.
The fact that they’ve handled hundreds of events, from weddings to birthdays, is also reassuring.
A couple who hired them for their wedding told me the sommelier they provided helped guests pair wine with the menu, turning the dinner into a curated experience.
I also love how meticulous Liquid Assets’ team is. They calculate exact quantities of alcohol, mixers, glassware, and ice. That means clients never have to overbuy or run short.
Their sleek portable bars each use two 6’ tables on risers with black linens, and a 6’x6’ footprint that can fit 1-2 bartenders (or be connected for larger crowds).
It comes with their full bar kit, which includes all the bar equipment needed for a successful event (shakers, coolers, etc.).
The only hitch? Their portable bars book up quickly for prime summer weekends, so plan ahead.
Best staff to work whatever events they cater.
“These guys are my favourite mobile bartending company, no matter what the situation they know how to make their patrons happy and always provide the best staff to work whatever events they cater.”

An incredible team
“An incredible team. Everyone at the party was singing their praises. Not only did they execute on the task at hand, when things were quiet at the bar they went around and helped keep the party tidy. I would highly recommend using them and I would not hesitate to call on them again. I was beyond impressed with their professionalism and their kind and courteous nature. Wish there was an option to give them more than 5 stars!!”

2. Little Boozy Mobile Bar Co.

Contact Details: +19166256471
Operating Hours: Monday to Sunday – 10 AM to 11 PM
Little Boozy probably has one of the most beautiful mobile bars in Vancouver. They put a lot of focus on achieving picture-worthy vibes, so their bars always make perfect photo backdrops.
One event host even told us their guests spent as much time posing at the bar as they did drinking from it.
They have an awesome range of bars too, and the celebrity-based names are very witty. For example, their Trailer Swift (a restored 1963 Magnolia Trailer) has a bench seat perfect for bride/groom photos.
Rita (the teardrop-style bar) fits into small outdoor spaces, while Prost! Malone and their other portable units work for any setting.
If you want more than just drinks, they also have Scoop Dogg. It’s an ice cream trike offering a wide range of ice cream flavours.
I also like how organised they are. They send out a questionnaire 60 days out and a consultation to finalise menus. They even give people a full shopping list so they know which liquor and spirits to get.
Several of their customers said this step-by-step approach eliminated all their stress.
One caveat: they require a $250 deposit upfront, and the remaining balance must be paid 30 days before the event.
They were great with communication from day 1
“I cannot recommend Keirsten, Chris, and the Little Boozy team enough. They were great with communication from day 1, helped with the shopping list, and provided top tier service for my Lake Tahoe backyard wedding. We got so many compliments on our signature drinks (especially the hibiscus margarita!) and the bar- Britney cheers! They incorporated my custom stirrers and straws and the drinks looked beautiful. If I could redo the day over and over I would hire Little Boozy every time! Thank you for helping make our day so amazing!”

They crafted mocktails with care that were beautiful
“Little Boozy showed up in an incredible way at my event. They crafted mocktails with care that were beautiful, delicious and allowed me to enjoy my celebration on my terms. They thoughtfully designed drinks based on my vision and preference and were kind, warm and engaging with myself and guests. I highly recommend them for any event, any time, any where!”

3. Lavish Liquid

Address: 2605 E Pender St
Contact Details: +16043984542
Operating Hours: Monday to Friday – 9 AM to 5 PM
Lavish Liquid made it to my list mainly for its strong team. All bartenders, mixologists, servers, and hosts are professionally trained.
They also have long years of experience and are ServingItRight certified, so compliance and quality are never in question.
The owner, Chris Chuy, has been behind the bar since he was 18. So, his passion for drinks shapes every custom cocktail he creates.
I like that he takes time to understand what his clients want. One couple who used them for a wedding told me he crafted a signature drink based on their first date, and guests were asking for the recipe for months after.
Lavish Liquid is also impressively versatile. They handle everything, from themed parties to corporate events. They can even provide mobile bars for intimate gatherings of 20 people to 100,000-person festivals.
The catch? Because Chris is hands-on with most events, the calendar fills up fast. A business organising an event said they had to shift their date by two weeks to book them.
The custom cocktails were a hit
“Knowing that my family places high value on bar experiences, we knew we had to book Lavish for the wedding!! We were so fortunate to work with Chris for our bar services and he totally made this process super easy for us! He took the weight of the planning and offered so much guidance and his wealth of experience. You can truly see how much he cares about his craft and his clients.
The custom cocktails were a hit among our guests and the scotch bar was a success at the end of the night. The personalized touch and the extremely friendly bar staff really helped make this a night to remember. Thank you for all your efforts, hustle and hard work. I’d recommend you over and over again.
Lots of love to Chris & the Lavish team!”

4. TravelBar

Contact Details: +12506672340
TravelBar caught my eye because they include almost everything in their packages.
When people book, they get 2+ SIR/Food Safe certified bartenders, a 3-tap keg system, and an onboard fridge. It also comes with speciality cocktails with all garnishes, ice, and tools. Unlimited non-alcoholic drinks are also included in the package.
The mobile bar is also fully equipped with custom signage and even a sound system with a mic.
TravelBar also handles licensing and helps customers pick the right alcohol. If the venue lacks power or water, the team can provide generators to keep the party going.
Their partnership with Encore Events is also great. It allows them to offer a smaller portable mini-bar for indoor venues.
A client who used the mini-bar for a backyard party told me the custom exterior decor made it feel like a permanent part of their space.
However, their payment terms are stricter than most. They charge a 50% deposit upfront, and full payment is due within 7 days of booking (or immediately for events under 30 days out).
A small business owner we spoke to said this strained their cash flow, especially since alcohol costs are separate and paid upfront.
We couldn’t be happier with the bar service at our wedding!
“We couldn’t be happier with the bar service at our wedding! They helped us curate a fantastic drink list that perfectly suited our guests’ tastes. The bartenders were friendly, engaging, and even created custom drinks tailored to individual preferences.
The setup was beautiful, and the positive energy made the bar a lively spot throughout the night. With no long lines, everyone was able to enjoy their drinks and socialize without a hitch.
Highly recommend this team for anyone looking for top-notch service and delicious cocktails at their event! Thank you for making our day so special!”

Highly recommend travel bar for any event.
“Highly recommend travel bar for any event. We hired them for a wedding and Brennan & co were easy to deal with, professional, and the bartenders brought a fun vibe. They helped curate a custom cocktail menu in advance and all of the guests loved the drinks. The bar itself is also very stylish and would fit with just about any theme. 10/10”

5. The Mobile Mixer

Contact Details: +19059313679
The Mobile Mixer has a unique lineup of head-turning bar setups. Their 1966 Airstream Globetrotter can serve 200+ guests with 4 draft taps, while their Tapvan options (a Piaggio Ape and a 1970 Ford Econoline) bring retro vibes to any event.
They’re not limited to big events either. Colourful, Orange, and Black Bars are perfect for smaller gatherings or indoor spaces.
They cover every event type, from weddings and corporate functions to milestones and even charity fundraisers. Plus, they do branding activations, where bars can be customised to match a company’s look.
One business I spoke to said the Ford Econoline bar became the centrepiece of their company event, with branded draft taps that made their social media posts take off.
For weddings, I recommend the Airstream Globetrotter. Almost all the couples I talked to loved that they could take photos inside.
The con? Because their bars are speciality vehicles or custom-built units, they require more advanced planning for transport and setup.
A planner who booked the Airstream for a downtown Vancouver event said they had to coordinate with the city for street access and parking permits, which added extra steps they hadn’t accounted for.
The Mobile Mixer was one of the highlights of our wedding.
“The Mobile Mixer was one of the highlights of our wedding. Stefan and Amanda were incredible to work with and helped us create the perfect cocktail menu, complete with a stunning champagne tower and all of our favourite drinks. The airstream was such a fun, unique touch. So many of our guests said they’d never experienced anything like it at a wedding before. The staff were friendly, fun, and brought amazing energy all night. We couldn’t recommend The Mobile Mixer more!”

The wedding would not have been possible without the help of The Mobile Mixer
“We used The Mobile Mixer as our alcohol vendor for our wedding at Kehoe and Kin. The girls at The Mobile Mixer did an absolutely incredible job at meeting ours and every one of our guests drink needs. The wait time was minimal, a large selection of hard and soft drink were had and the girls were smiling and happy to help at all times.
The wedding would not have been possible without the help of The Mobile Mixer”
