I’m going to come again for sure!
“I love this restaurant! I just went there for the first time and it was a wonderful experience. No wonder it has so many good reviews here. Everyone was very kind. The owner himself was very attentive and took his time to explain things when we said it was our first time. He is very gentle and kind and comes and checks on you to make sure everything is good. The food was great too! I enjoyed every bit of it. I also asked if they have gluten-free options, and they said everything except one can be made as a gluten-free dish. Great news for my friend with Celiac, so I’ll recommend this restaurant to him too. I’m going to come again for sure!”

Mazahr Lebanese Kitchen is a must-visit in Vancouver!
“What an amazing introduction to Lebanese food!!! Mazahr Lebanese Kitchen is a must-visit in Vancouver! This was our first time trying Lebanese cuisine, and everything blew us away. From the moment the mezze trio hit the table (hummus, muhammara, and baba ganoush), we knew we were in for something special. So fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. Just so you know, the pita bread is refillable…”

2. Manoush’eh

Address: 620 Davie St
Phone: +1 604-440-4402
Business hours:
- Monday: 11 AM – 3 PM
- Tuesday: 11 AM – 9 PM
- Wednesday: Closed
- Thursday: 11 AM – 9 PM
- Friday to Saturday: 11 AM – 10 PM
- Sunday: 11 AM – 3 PM
The moment we tried Manous’eh’s flatbreads, we instantly fell in love. The dough is thin, soft, and baked to perfection, serving as the perfect canvas for every topping.
Spiced ground beef, creamy labneh, tangy pickles, and a touch of thyme come together in a way that’s both balanced and bold.
Even simple combinations like zaatar and cheese feel elevated. The kafta flatbread, with its spiced meat and mayo, is also a standout.
Their dessert is equally impressive. Their kunafa is light, buttery, and perfectly sweet. It’s a nod to classic Middle Eastern treats, yet perfectly portioned for one or two diners.
We also appreciated that every meal is prepared fresh to order, which added a personal touch to our experience.
The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. They even guided us through the menu when we didn’t know what to order. On top of that, the prices were also reasonable for the quality you get.
That said, the place is very small, so big groups might have to plan ahead. The limited seating means you’ll need a bit of patience during busy times.
Enjoyed all the flavours
“Very delicious. Enjoyed all the flavours. Would be back again if we lived in town. If you aren’t familiar with Manoush’eh – it’s Lebanese flatbread. You must try!”

The food is heavenly..
“A friend told me about this Manoush’eh an authentic Lebanese restaurant. I did not eat lunch, and I walked 20 minutes from my hotel to this restaurant. The restaurant is very small, but the food is heavenly…like a famous restaurant in the Middle East. I ordered a combo of “zaatar w jebneh” and lentil soup. I found the soup yummy…do not forget to tell them to put extra lemon juice on it. The bread of the Zaatar w Jebneh was tasty 😋. Then, I ended the meal with knafeh. I am going to bring my two boys here next time. WoW…so delicious, light and authentic Middle Eastern food.”

3. Nuba

Address: 207 W Hastings St
Phone: +1 604-688-1655
Business hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 11:30 AM – 9 PM
- Friday to Saturday: 11:30 AM – 10 PM
- Sunday: 11:30 AM – 9 PM
The first thing we observed about Nuba was how welcoming the staff were. Even without a reservation, they’ll find you a spot. Things fill up fast, though, so booking ahead is a smart move.
It’s a great location for a relaxed dinner or a low-key date night with its dim lighting and warm vibes too.
The menu reads like a love letter to Lebanese cuisine. We loved how the staff take the time to guide you through it, explaining portion sizes and making suggestions.
There’s a little something for everyone here—vegan and vegetarian options shine just as brightly as the meat dishes.
Most dishes come in generous portions, but some plant-based options might feel a touch light for bigger appetites.
The food is the real star. The Najib’s Special, a roasted cauliflower dish, is a must-try with seasoning that’s addicting in a good way.
Falafel plates are another highlight. They’re perfectly balanced with earthy chickpeas, fresh herbs, and spices that hit all the right notes.
For those craving meat, the mixed grill platter delivers tender and well-seasoned cuts. We all agreed, though, that it could use a bit more veggies to balance it out.
We wanted some authentic Lebanese food, and Nuba was perfect
“We wanted some authentic Lebanese food, and Nuba was perfect. The service was warm and friendly. They had a good selection of beer on tap and wines by the glass. The hummus was very flavorful, and the bread was delicious. Love the halloumi skewers, and the lamb kofta was amazing. I also really liked the combination of fig, feta and pear salad – perfect for the summer. Highly recommend it.”

Food and flavours were amazing
“Came here for a Sunday night Lebanese dinner. Although we didn’t have reservations, they were able to accommodate us. It wasn’t busy upon arrival, but quickly filled up, so I do recommend reservations. The atmosphere was both cosy and intimate. The service was extremely friendly. They took the time to explain the menu and make some recommendations on the portion sizes. Dishes are meant to be shared, so it’s best to order several dishes. Food and flavours were amazing. Dishes came out as they were ready, and each was plated nicely.”

4. Yasma

Address: 550 Denman St
Phone: +1 604-566-0493
Business hours:
- Monday to Tuesday: Closed
- Wednesday to Thursday: 4 PM – 10 PM
- Friday to Saturday: 4 PM – 10:30 PM
- Sunday: 4 PM – 10 PM
The first thing that struck us about Yasma was the setting. Nestled right by Coal Harbour, it gives off a sense of sophistication, especially with its warm lighting.
They blend Syrian and Lebanese influences, which gives it a nice twist. The presentation is stunning, with every plate looking like it’s ready for its close-up.
And while we didn’t dig into everything on the menu, the highlights for us are the muhammara, grilled kibbeh, and the pita.
Flavour-wise, Yasma plays it cool. The dishes aren’t heavy on spice or garlic.
It seems like they’ve deliberately toned things down for a more refined touch. Some of us in our team loved that balance, while others wished for a bit more punch.
We also noticed that their service is top-tier. The staff are friendly without being too much, and they know the menu inside out.
Apparently, most of the team has been there since the restaurant opened a couple of years ago, which explains the smooth operation.
Just keep in mind that they’re a bit pricey. Waterfront dining never comes cheap, after all.

5. ZAATAR W ZEIT

Address: 531 Granville St
Phone: +1 604-336-9348
Business hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9 AM – 10 PM
- Saturday to Sunday: 10 AM – 10 PM
If you ever find yourself downtown and craving something healthy and comforting, Zaatar W Zeit is a great spot to check out.
It takes familiar Middle Eastern flavours and gives them a fresh, city-friendly twist. The food is light and balanced, but still full of flavour. Nothing feels heavy or overdone.
We loved their wild zaatar manousheh. It’s a warm flatbread full of herby, tangy flavour, and wrapped with hummus, avocado, eggplant, and other fresh veggies.
Service here follows a fast-casual style. You order at the counter, then sit back while your food is brought to you.
Despite the quick setup, the team somehow keeps things friendly and personal. We noticed how calm and upbeat they stayed, even when the place was packed during lunch.
Not everything’s perfect, though. We heard that delivery orders can take time. Some folks mentioned waiting close to an hour for small orders, so it’s probably better to dine in if you can.
It was my first time trying Lebanese food, and it did not disappoint
“Went for a trip in Vancouver and tried Zaatar W Zeit, which is such a nice and affordable place to eat at. They have a variety of to-go food and vegetarian options. The serving is also good for sharing. It was my first time trying Lebanese food, and it did not disappoint.”
