Ava GabouryI’ll be honest, Vancouver has a way of humbling you when it comes to looks. I first realized it when a well-meaning stranger joked that I looked half asleep during brunch at Kitsilano, even though I had a solid 8 hours of sleep.
More for confidence and less for vanity (okay, maybe for vanity!), eyelid surgery crossed my mind. The thing is, it isn’t something you can easily jump into. Even the first page of Google gives you more results than you can imagine.
So, I decided that the best way to move forward with this is to conduct an expert search. Led by yours truly, our team was divided into groups of interviewers and background checkers.
And with info on track record and patient stories, we found clinics that we know we’ll stay with you every step of the way.
How much does eyelid surgery cost in Vancouver?
The cost of eyelid surgery in Vancouver ranges from $4,500 to $8,000 for combined upper and lower procedures. Prices usually cover surgeon fees, anesthesia, and facility charges.

8 West Clinic is led by Dr. Thomas Buonassisi, a specialist in head and neck surgery with over 25 years of experience. He is often praised for natural-looking results, showing great expertise in realistic outcomes.
Another thing we appreciate is how thorough and honest the consultations are. According to clients, the assessment is in-depth. The doctor suggests the best procedure, even if it means suggesting an alternative.
As for the level of post-operative care, we like how clear and well-detailed the care instructions are. Additionally, they do regular in-person check-ins to monitor healing and results.
The overall attitude and approach of the staff and doctor were also favorable. Everybody was kind, attentive, and supportive. With the level of care and compassion they show, we can see why they have a track record of over 4,000 successful cases.
The fees here are slightly higher than those at other clinics in the area, and information on payment plans is unclear. We recommend clarifying from the onset during the initial consultation to avoid surprise fees.

Dr. Ashley Tregaskiss, who leads Pacific Plastic Surgery, is a board-certified plastic surgeon. He has international training in the UK, Australia, and Canada.
Beyond surgery, he also specializes in various non-surgical cosmetic treatments.
Speaking to clients, it’s clear that they appreciate his meticulous approach. Even during the consultation, he’s described as kind and thorough. He carefully explains the procedure so the client can safely prepare.
The post-operative care is pretty solid as well, with detailed instructions and attentive follow-up visits. With this, the recovery experience has been said to be smoother and easier than expected – most patients reported minimal pain.
We also loved how upfront and clear they are with their rates. Blepharoplasty starts from $5,000 with transparent fee guides available. Third-party financing is also available through Medicard, making it more accessible to most.
The only downside is that it can be difficult to book an initial consultation, with a few instances of calls being bounced back. It’s best to be prepared weeks in advance to secure an appointment.

Thorough care is clear at every stage. Pre-surgical consultations are highly detailed and in-depth, complete with attentive aftercare that ensures zero complications. The surgeon is warm and friendly all throughout as well.
The clinic offers a wide range of cosmetic services, including body contouring and laser treatments. We find the place clean and modern, so we’re sure clients will feel comfortable and assured.
Unfortunately, we did hear a few complaints that appointments were scheduled multiple times – sometimes without even telling the client beforehand. Better booking management would make things more seamless.

Consultations are personalized, and we love how he goes through every single option to help clients decide the best procedure. There’s also an open discussion about potential risks, so clients can better prepare.
With the level of care he and his team offer, recovery time is faster and smoother, according to client stories. We also noted that the majority of them said that they’re comfortable going back to daily activities in just 2 to 3 weeks.
Costs for eyelid surgery are transparent and competitive, ranging from $2,000 to $4,000 (cost depends on whether it’s for the lower or upper eyelid or both). There’s also potential for MSP coverage in medical-related cases.
We think, however, that they can really take their customer service to the next level if they have an online booking option. Reaching out to them is possible via phone, but we’d also love to see email and online form options.

“I had upper and lower eyelid surgery in January 2025 and am very pleased with my results. I can see my eyelids again, and I really appreciate the greatly reduced “saddlebags” under my eyes. My face looks and feels younger. I felt comfortable with small public exposure by 2 weeks, and any public appearances by 3 weeks although slight redness took several weeks longer to fade. Dr Anzarut was available during the healing process and always listened to my concerns and was reassuring. He dealt with a couple of small issues quickly, which was also reassuring. Dr. Rossman is often described by his clients as kind, caring, and calm – attributes that we think are crucial for a risky procedure. Seeing clients immediately at ease in just the first consultation is a good sign of comprehensive care.
This comprehensive care translates well into case outcomes. In fact, a few clients noted that he was able to resolve long-standing eyelid issues in just one appointment.
We also found it reassuring that clients experienced little to no bruising and pain after surgery.
A few clients also shared with us that the procedure was faster than expected. Despite this, the quality of the surgery was not compromised. This helped them get back to their daily lives much faster.
Another advantage worth noting is that he is one of the very few clinics that can actually accommodate surgeries on the same day.
Though we don’t recommend pushing through without taking ample time to prepare, it’s a great thing to consider for his availability.
While this is the case, we also noted complaints about poor management of follow-up appointments. This affects continuity of post-operative care, so we wish to see improvements in this area.
