How We Chose the Best Coworking Spaces in Vancouver
1. Werklab Inc

Address: 1275 Venables St
Phone: +604-909-0609
Business hours: Mon-Fri: 8:00am – 6:00pm
At Werklab, we found ourselves appreciating the clean, functional meeting rooms and phone booths. It’s rare to come across a workspace where you don’t have to worry about noise interrupting calls or meetings.
The on-site coffee bar is a real highlight. We couldn’t resist grabbing a cup, especially with the option of milk alternatives, which is great when you’re trying to cut back on dairy.
Another thing that caught our attention were the regular community events and workshops. We’ve all been to spaces where events feel awkward or obligatory, but here, it’s like you’re part of something.
Plus, the in-house lunch service means we don’t have to scramble for food or settle for something uninspiring—they’ve thought of everything to keep us in the flow.
Of course, we have to mention the price – coworking spaces start at $160, and they don’t offer hourly rates. But if you’re in it for the long haul, the investment feels worthwhile considering the holistic approach they’ve built here.
Rich in texture!
“I’ve been working out of Werklab since 2018 and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. The vibe of whole space is clean and simple, yet rich in texture and life,”
-Payam Rajabi, Google Review
Perfect!
It’s been exactly what I was looking for: bright open airy spaces, loads of room to spread out laptop and notebooks, super useful meeting rooms and “phonebooths” for video chats.

2. VanCubers

Address: 997 Seymour St #250
Phone: +16044492033
Business hours: Mon-Fri: 8:00am – 6:00pm
We noticed how easily the spaces could be customized at VanCuber, allowing the workers to tweak their environment to fit exactly what they would need that day. It’s nice knowing that you could adjust the setup as the needs change, especially for growing businesses.
The lighting is bright without feeling harsh, and the whole space has this upbeat energy that sparks creativity.
In addition, the amenities are solid. We found it convenient that everything we needed was within reach—fast internet, great coffee spots nearby, and plenty of restaurants just a stone’s throw away for a quick lunch break.
The location really works in its favour; it’s accessible, and being downtown means workers don’t have to waste time travelling to meetings or running errands.
However, VanCubers is closed on weekends, which is a bit of a downside if you’re someone who likes to work on Saturdays or Sundays. And while the space works well for solo workers or small teams, larger teams might find it a little tight.
Respectful!
“I came here to work for two days. And it was Perfect for what I needed. I had a desk in a room with 2 other people. Everyone was super respectful.”
-Enthis P., Google Review
Good option!
“A very good option for your business if you require a physical address. Very professional, well organized and convenient location.”
-Trini Kels, Google Review
3. L’Atelier Coworking

Address: 319 W Hastings St
Phone: +17786974702
Business hours:
- Mon-Wed, Fri: 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Thur 3:30pm – 6:00pm
The space in L’Atelier Coworking is designed in a way that almost tricks your brain into thinking you’re anywhere but an office. The natural light, the unique aesthetic touches, and the calm atmosphere make it clear why they’ve named it “The Workshop.”
What really stood out to us was the flexibility. Even though their official hours run from 9 to 5, you can stick around long after they close up. For those of us who tend to hit our stride after sunset or who need to keep working through the night, this space feels like a gift.
The vibe here is incredibly welcoming, with a friendliness that doesn’t feel forced. We’ve been to coworking spaces where everyone’s focused on their screens, avoiding eye contact, but L’Atelier is different.
Also, the space might not be for everyone. If you’re looking for that classic office vibe – rigid desks, harsh lighting, and a strict business-only environment – L’Atelier probably won’t scratch that itch.
Excellent!
“Bright and sunny. They were quite flexible in terms of options for my two week stay in Vancouver.”
-Sean McAvoy, Google Review
Extremely happy!
“I’ve been a member at L’Atelier for the past couple of months and I’m extremely happy to get to use this space.”
-Matt Tomporowski, Google Review
4. The Network Hub

Address: 422 Richards St
Phone: +16047678778
Business hours: Mon-Fri: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Established in 2006, it’s clear that The Network Hub has staying power, and when you walk in, you can immediately tell why. The space feels like it’s been designed with real professionals in mind.
We noticed the sleek, clean layout, which manages to balance a quiet, professional atmosphere with a modern, welcoming vibe. There’s none of that sterile office stiffness, but it still feels like a place where serious work gets done.
What stood out to us was the sheer amount of space. With room for large teams, it’s no wonder companies like Netflix, Dyson, and Instagram have used this as their base in Vancouver.
The seating here is also worth a mention, as someone who’s spent too many hours in uncomfortable chairs, the ergonomic desks were a welcome relief. You can feel the difference after a full day of work when your back isn’t aching.
However, not everything is perfect. The hotdesks are tough to come by on busy work days, and while they’re a great option, you might need to plan ahead if you’re hoping to snag one.
Reasonable cost!
“I use this location for drop-in visits while downtown. It’s nice and quiet, no loud music competing with me on phone calls, and very reasonable cost.”
-Mike Bloemen, Google Review
Efficient!
“nice experience working with The Network Hub. Very effition and consider on behald of situation.”
-Jose Antonio Diaz, Google Review
5. iQ Offices

Address: 1055 W Georgia St
Phone: +18009333176
Business hours: Mon-Fri: 8:00am – 6:00pm
The first thing we noticed at iQ Offices was how clean and well-maintained the space is, which makes a massive difference when you’re spending hours there.
One of the highlights for us was the private offices. We felt a bit spoiled having our own space to work without the typical coworking hustle and bustle around us, but even in the common areas, like the beautifully designed lounges, we found it easy to sink into work mode.
We also can’t forget the staff. They’re always responsive and friendly, and we never felt like our requests were a bother. They seem to have a knack for ensuring everything runs smoothly, which honestly makes all the difference in a coworking environment.
While it’s a fantastic place overall, if you’re someone who thrives on constant social energy, iQ Offices might feel a bit more subdued compared to some of the more vibrant coworking spaces.
Outstanding!
“I recently booked a meeting room at IQ offices, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience.”
-Kim, Google Review
