I’m fussy about the auto detailing that goes on my car, whether it’s ceramic coating or a fresh set of brake pads. Finding the best auto parts Vancouver has to offer means fewer headaches and fewer dodgy replacements.
DIYers need parts that fit right the first time. Independent mechanics need dependable stock without turning every morning into a scavenger hunt.
Even restoration projects deserve better than mystery components gathering dust on a shelf. I checked local suppliers for selection, service, and overall value to find the shops worth your time.
How much do auto parts cost in Vancouver?
Auto parts and common repairs in Vancouver typically cost $150 to $6,000 CAD. Prices depend on the component, vehicle, and labour required.
A battery replacement usually costs $150 to $300. Brake pad and rotor repairs generally run $200 to $800.
Engine repairs can cost around $1,000 to $5,000+. Transmission repairs are pricier at roughly $1,500 to $6,000.
Buying parts separately may lower your upfront spend. Labour, diagnostics, and installation can increase the final bill.
1. Lordco Auto Parts

Address: 882 E Cordova St
Contact: +16048799391
Hours: Monday-Friday: 7.30 AM–7 PM; Saturday, 8 AM–6 PM; Sunday, 9 AM–5 PM
Lordco Auto Parts is a handy stop when your car needs more than a quick wash and wax. Its shelves cover everyday essentials like brake parts, bearings, batteries, tools, and plenty of garage gear.
The range is broad enough for weekend DIY jobs and more serious repairs. If the exact part isn’t sitting on the shelf, staff can check availability and arrange special orders.
I like that you can shop for both vehicle parts and workshop equipment without bouncing between stores. That makes it especially practical when one repair somehow turns into three.
The downside is that stock varies by branch, so harder-to-find items may need ordering. That can add a bit of waiting if you’re trying to finish a repair the same day.

“Thank you team Lordco ……
Great staff!! Great service!! Great variety!! if they don’t have it, they will all pick up their rotary phones and not put them down until you have your part in your hands and you are happy and smiling !!
Always satisfied here; great customer service as well. They know how to acknowledge the little things; they pay attention to detail, and sometimes that’s all it is l” The little things that matter, I drove across the city to come here past multiple other shops; it’s been over 10, and it won’t stop there ….
“Thank you, team Lordco ……

I will be back for any future auto part needs
I needed to grab cabin and air filters for my 2002 Honda Accord coupe and had no issues finding what I needed. Luckily, though, having watched a YouTube video, the Service Rep almost let me walk out with the wrong cabin filters, but he rectified the issue for me right away. I was happy to see that the store has taken proper measures to ensure physical distancing measures are respected. I will be back for any future auto part needs

2. NAPA Auto Parts – Vancouver

Address: 138 W 3rd Ave
Contact: (604) 874-5777
Hours: Monday-Friday: 7:30 AM–6 PM; Saturday: 8 AM–4 PM
NAPA Auto Parts is the kind of place I’d check when a maintenance job starts eating into detailing time.
The Vancouver shop carries everyday essentials like filters, spark plugs, brake parts, batteries, tools, and car-care gear.
Online ordering makes things easier when you already know the exact part you need. If it’s in stock, same-day pickup can save you from wandering the aisles with greasy hands and crossed fingers.
I like that the range suits both home mechanics and commercial garages. You can cover routine repairs and pick up accessories in the same run.
The main drawback is Sunday closure, which can be awkward for weekend projects. Stock can vary too, so less common parts may need extra time to arrive.
Customer Reviews
His knowledge, professionalism, and outstanding customer service made a stressful situation much easier.
I can’t say enough good things about Jason at NAPA Auto Parts. He has gone above and beyond to help me every step of the way. He took the time to answer all of my questions, made sure I got the right parts, and genuinely cared about making sure everything worked out. His knowledge, professionalism, and outstanding customer service made a stressful situation much easier.
What stood out most was his kindness and willingness to help without hesitation. In a world where great customer service can be hard to find, Jason has truly restored my faith in humanity.

It has always been and continues to be my go-to place for all my automotive parts and accessories.
I have been doing business with the 3rd Ave Napa since 2008. It has always been and continues to be my go-to place for all my automotive parts and accessories. The staff always go the extra mile to help me and ensure that my orders are fulfilled promptly. I honestly can’t imagine going anywhere else, and they have literally helped me make a success of my business. It’s tough to find this level of professionalism and customer care in today’s business environment, and everyone at this store is worth their weight in gold..

3. VAP Auto Parts

Address: 2098 Commercial Dr
Contact: (604) 251-9060
Hours: Monday-Saturday: 9 AM–5:30 PM
VAP Auto Parts feels more hands-on than a typical parts counter, which I like when a repair gets a bit fiddly.
The Commercial Drive shop combines aftermarket parts sales with brake, clutch, suspension, electrical, and general repair services.
That setup is handy if you’d rather get fitment advice before buying something expensive. They work with a broad range of makes and models, so it’s not just a niche stop for one type of vehicle.
I’d especially consider them for brake or clutch work where the right part matters as much as the installation.
Having parts and service under one roof can save you an extra trip across Vancouver.
The main drawback is that not every part will be sitting on the shelf. Some components may need to be sourced, so urgent same-day fixes could take longer.

Lowest prices for parts that I know of
Lowest prices for parts that I know of. I’ve always saved money buying parts from here and usually get the parts in a few hours when they don’t have it in stock at their location. I haven’t bought parts from anywhere else ever since I found out about these guys.
The workers are very helpful. I was having a hard time finding a replacement bolt for my turbo manifold, brought them a sample bolt, and they found one for me the next day and didn’t even charge me for it. Thanks, guys!

4. West Coast Off-Roaders

Address: 104 Garden Ave
Contact: (604) 770-1252
Hours: Monday-Thursday: 9 AM–6 PM; Friday: 9 AM–5 PM; Saturday by appointment
West Coast Off-Roaders is where I’d look once stock suspension starts feeling a little too sensible.
The North Vancouver shop specializes in 4×4 upgrades, suspension systems, overlanding gear, and custom installation.
Its catalogue includes well-known brands such as AEV, Dirt King, Bilstein, ICON, and King. That gives truck and Jeep owners plenty of room to build for trails, touring, or just a tougher stance.
I like that the shop combines parts sales with installation and fitment guidance. It’s especially useful when lift height, suspension geometry, and tyre clearance need more thought than a quick online checkout.
The trade-off is that this isn’t really a general passenger-car parts stop. Its range leans heavily toward 4x4s and overlanding, so everyday sedan shoppers may find fewer relevant options.

100% quality service.
100% quality service. I was so impressed that the day I phoned for a specialized part for my F150 truck they had it in stock and most impressively, even though they were fully booked they squeezed in the installation the same day so I could head off on my trip the next morning.
Very impressed especially these days when companies are either so busy they don’t care to make extra effort or simply can’t be overly bothered to go out of their way .
Thanks very much, team .

He’s a good guy who genuinely helps you get the lift or parts you want.
My first interaction with Fab left a great impression. He’s a good guy who genuinely helps you get the lift or parts you want. I’ve always been a fan of MetalCloak lift kits and all their components, so I decided to go with MetalCloak for my build. Fab helped bring my vision to life; he gave me honest advice on which parts I needed, what I didn’t, and what I might need to replace down the road.

5. CeeGees Auto Recycling

Address: 12320 Mitchell Rd
Contact: (604) 321-0888
Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:30 AM–5 PM
CeeGees Auto Recycling is the kind of place I’d check before paying dealership prices for an older Ford part. The Richmond recycler focuses on used components for Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles.
Its searchable online inventory makes hunting for specific parts much less of a guessing game. Many components are pre-dismantled, tested, and ready for pickup, which is handy when you already know what your car needs.
I like that the business has a long history in auto recycling and sticks to a fairly clear niche. Recycled factory parts can be a practical option when buying new doesn’t make much sense.
The trade-off is that owners of other makes won’t find much here. Weekend closures can be inconvenient too if Saturday or Sunday are your usual garage days.

My stepdad called ahead of time, and Matt found the part we wanted
My stepdad called ahead of time, and Matt found the part we wanted and had it ready and waiting for us. It was a small but crucial part and exactly the one we needed, installed it last weekend, and it went in perfectly.

Keep up the great work, gentlemen!
Matt at CEEGEE’s is a class act and has been for the last 20-plus years. My local company has been doing business with these fine folks for many, many years and has been treated fairly each time we’ve needed them. They are always willing to go the extra mile to not only find a part you are looking for, but they make sure that the price is always fair. Keep up the great work, gentlemen!
