Splitsville Richmond Hill

Contact details: +1 905-881-5927
Operating hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM
- Friday: 12:00 PM to 1:00 AM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM to 1:00 AM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM
Formerly known as Lucky 9 Lanes, Splitsville Richmond Hill is more than just your typical bowling alley. Simply put, it’s the ultimate entertainment hub, boasting 40 lanes, an arcade and even a restaurant so that you can munch on your favourite snacks while playing!
Going back to the bowling lanes, the theme they feature is this cool retro disco-esque look that honestly goes hand-in-hand with bowling. Just think of how many movies set in the ‘80s feature a scene where they play bowling in a neon-lit alley.
The arcade is also a nice touch, as it gives guests a break from bowling for several hours. Plus, it’s a nice thing to have for those people in the group who aren’t necessarily big fans of bowling.
Pro tips: Book your visit at least three days in advance as the alley is usually packed, especially on weekends and holidays. If you want to play bowling for hours on end, you can visit the alley on Sundays during their All You Can Bowl special event. 50% of the lanes are reserved for walk-ins while the other 50% is saved for online booking so you don’t have to worry. |
Grandview Lanes

Website: https://www.grandviewbowling.com
Address: 2195 Commercial Dr, Vancouver, BC V5N 4B3, Canada
Contact details: +1 604-253-2747
Operating hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM
- Friday and Saturday: 10:00 AM to 1:00 AM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
When it comes to longevity, Grandview Lanes probably has all the other bowling alleys here beat. Originally opening back in 1947, this all-time classic spot has been handled by three generations of the same family—pretty impressive!
It’s not hard to see why this alley is still getting a lot of love today though, as it offers fair prices that are worth every penny. Plus, it does a great job of letting people experience some good old-fashioned bowling, which is the most important thing.
It also features a cool glow-in-the-dark theme for its 5-pin lanes on the second floor, which is also perfect for picture-taking! If you’re looking for a more traditional and retro lane, you’ll find it on the first floor of the alley on the 10-pin lanes.
Pro tips: If you’re planning on going here with your special someone, we recommend visiting on Tuesdays. They have a special event called Tuesday Date Night, where they offer a special discounted price for 2 people. Meanwhile, if you’re the type of player who loves to snack in between games, you can visit from Sunday to Thursday. During these days, your one hour of bowling will be accompanied by one large pizza—win-win! |

- Monday to Thursday: 10:00 AM to 1:00 AM
- Friday and Saturday: 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
If you ask any Vancouverites where they go bowling in Vancouver they’ll most likely say REVS Bowling. One of the reasons for this is that it’s the largest bowling alley in Western Canada, boasting a whopping 48 10-pin lanes, which can accommodate 300 players at a time!
Its size isn’t the only good thing it has going for it too, as this bowling alley is one of the most modern ones in the city today. Yes, the theme still features a retro vibe but the facilities and technology used to perfect the game are up-to-date!
Of course, it won’t be a complete bowling experience without some delicious snacks, and thankfully, REVS Bowling features an amazing bar/restaurant. It offers just about every comfort food you need, from nachos to fries and more (and alcoholic drinks, of course).
Pro tip: If you want to save money on your bowling experience, schedule your visit from the opening time until 5:00 PM. During this timeframe, the rate per person will be significantly cheaper as opposed to the ones offered from 5:00 PM until closing time. |
King Pins Bowling

Operating hours:
- Sunday to Thursday: 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
- Friday and Saturday: 11:00 AM to 1:00 AM
King Pins Bowling is another spot that perfectly blends tradition with modernity as seen with their retro neon-lit theme and state-of-the-art technology. This combination still succeeds in giving off nostalgia while making sure that every game goes smoothly—no complaints, here!
It’s also one of the newer additions to the bowling scene in Vancouver, so you can expect the facilities to be up-to-date and well-maintained. Speaking of being well-maintained, the same can be said about its 10-pin lanes!
If you grow hungry between your intense bowling sessions, their restaurant and bar are easily accessible, as they’re located on the same floor! They offer an assortment of finger food as well as refreshing cocktails for those looking for a more tipsy bowling experience.
Pro tips: Arrive there as early as possible, as the bowling alley follows a first come first serve policy. |

Address: 838 Granville St, Vancouver, BC V6B 2C9, Canada
Contact details: +1 604-681-1531
Operating hours: Daily from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Commodore Lanes is another mainstay staple in the Vancouver bowling scene, being around since 1930. Since then, it’s been a must-visit for enthusiasts and casuals alike because of its authentic vintage feel and straightforward bowling experience.
This vintage feel can be found in the entire bowling alley, from the screens to the signs, down to the lanes themselves. It evokes a certain nostalgic feeling even though you weren’t necessarily born when this bowling alley originally opened its doors.
Come nighttime, the overall vibe of the bowling alley will be much more lively, as the bar will start taking orders. We can see why too, as nothing quite beats a cold pint to share with your friends while playing a friendly game of bowling!
Pro tip: If you’re not the biggest fan of bowling, don’t worry! You’re still bound to find something that interests you here, as it also features arcade machines, billiard tables and even foosball tables! |
Zone Bowling

Operating hours:
- Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM
- Friday and Saturday: 10:00 AM to 1:00 AM
Zone Bowling is your typical bowling alley. It doesn’t offer anything fancy, but what it does perfectly is provide bowlers with a classic bowling experience—one that’s free from exaggerated designs and distracting side attractions.
Here, you’ll be forced to be in the zone (pun fully intended), as you’ll be focused on nothing more than the game itself. Consider coming here if you’re looking to play competitively with your friends!
Pro tip: If you want to avoid long lines and dense crowds, we recommend visiting on weekdays, preferably around the afternoon. This almost always guarantees that you’ll immediately be assigned to a lane. |
