Get Your Gut Right with the Best Colonics in Vancouver

colonics-in-vancouver
We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.
  • Customer Testimonials: We scoured online reviews on platforms like Google. We also spoke directly with patients about their colonic experience.
  • Professional Certifications: We verified if clinics were certified by organizations like the International Association of Colon Hydrotherapists (IACH).
  • Hygiene & Safety: We assessed the cleanliness and safety protocols of each clinic. This included their sterilization procedures and staff training.
  • Services: We identified clinics that provided additional offerings, such as herbal teas and wellness treatments.

Let’s be honest, the thought of getting a colonic can feel a little intimidating.

We’ve all heard horror stories—like when the tech accidentally switches the water lines, and instead of the soothing, cleansing solution, you end up with… let’s just say a lot of bubbles and a very unhappy bathroom experience.

No need to worry though—at Waterview Vancouver, we’re dedicated to ensuring that won’t be your experience. That’s why we spoke to experts and consulted with people who’d been through it themselves.

So, here’s our curated list of clinics in Vancouver where you can get a clean, comfortable, and—most importantly—safe colonic experience.

How much does it cost to get a colonic in Vancouver?

It costs at least 100 CAD to get a 60-minute colonic session in Vancouver.

This price is just an estimate. The actual cost will depend on the clinic and any additional services included.

Vestta’s colon hydrotherapist, Archer Jensen, holds instructor-level certification from the International Association of Colon Hydrotherapy (IACT). He is also nationally board-certified by the National Board for Colon Hydrotherapy (NBCHT).

In my experience, he took the time to understand each of my needs. This kind of attention feels rare and sincere, which I truly appreciate.

Patients even mentioned how he addressed concerns and helped them understand their digestive health, which feels empowering and supportive.

What truly stood out to me was his focus on holistic health. He doesn’t just address the digestive system—he considers the entire body.

In fact, during my session, he drew from his background in massage, yoga, and dietary wellness to explain how various factors were connected. People appreciated his guidance and support beyond the procedure.

However, there have been some complaints about the clinic’s schedule. Some days they’re open late, other days they close early. This inconsistency makes it hard to book an appointment that fits into a busy schedule.

Pros

  • Instructor-level certification
  • Board certified with the NBCHT
  • Offers personalized care
  • Follows holistic approach

Cons

  • Inconsistent clinic hours

At Inner Garden Health, the first thing you notice is how welcoming and accessible the place is. They’re super upfront about how safe and hygienic everything is.

They use all the latest, approved equipment—closed systems, single-use tubing, the whole shebang.

The former patients we talked to also kept raving about how professional, knowledgeable, and caring the staff were.

Many patients also appreciate their other services. It includes digestive health consultations and dietary advice. Plus, they even recommend natural products, offering a holistic approach to gut health.

However, some customers felt bloated and that the colonic wasn’t fully completed. While colonics are typically thorough, this is something to consider if you have more stubborn gut issues.

Regardless, Inner Garden Health runs its own school, the Inner Garden School. To me, that’s a solid assurance that their practitioners know their responsibilities and are truly well-trained.

Pros

  • Welcoming environment
  • Uses modern equipment
  • Professional staff
  • Offers holistic services
  • Operate the Inner Garden School

Cons

  • Post-treatment gut concerns

Explains the colonic procedure thoroughly

“Today I had my first ever Colonic with Jen, and she was wonderful to put me completely at ease and explain the process throughout. I would definitely book with Jen again when I’m back in Vancouver!”

Knowledgeable of the body from a holistic standpoint

“I had my first ever colonic with Amanda and she was fantastic! I was on day seven of juice fast. She made me feel very comfortable and I was able to ask a lot of questions. She was very knowledgable of the body from a holistic standpoint. It is also worth noting that I was able to release some parasites during the session. I am grateful and would recommend booking an appointment here.”

Puriin Spa and Wellness is all about luxury and pampering. They really go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable.

Their equipment is top-notch. They utilize a closed-system colon hydrotherapy device that allows practitioners to switch between gravity and pressure modes of operation during a treatment.

They even offer private suites, so you can relax and unwind in complete privacy.

Aside from that, they offer herbal teas and alkaline water that add to the overall wellness experience.

We also liked the very knowledgeable and friendly staff who happily answered any of our questions. Many people even commended the team for ensuring they felt comfortable throughout the entire process.

The only downside is that the staff can be a bit pushy when promoting other treatments. It can feel uncomfortable, especially after a colonic, to have expensive add-ons pitched to you.

Pros

  • Top-notch equipment
  • Private luxurious suites
  • Knowledgeable and friendly staff
  • Offers wellness extras

Cons

  • Pushy sales tactics

Quality service and hospitality

“I would like to recommend the Puriin Spa for their quality service and hospitality.  The friendly and well trained staff are proficient in operating the colonic machines and the spa is very clean and welcoming. Thank you Stella, Kiki and Mel and Maggie.”

Natural Health Hydrotherapy is a solid budget-friendly option for colonics. I really appreciate that they offer Groupon deals and discounts on their sessions, which make it easier to try without spending too much.

Their clinic is clean and has a calming atmosphere, which I liked. The comfortable waiting room helped ease some of the nervousness I had before my first appointment.

Also, the staff were great at explaining the process step by step. They even checked in to make sure I was comfortable the whole time.

They also shared some potential benefits of colonics, like improved digestion and better gut health, without being pushy about it.

However, I did find the start of the procedure a bit abrupt—they began without much warning or preparation. I can see how that might feel jarring for others too, especially if it’s your first time.

Pros

  • Budget-friendly service
  • Clean and calming space
  • Clear communication throughout

Cons

  • Abrupt start to the procedure

Effective colonic and less expensive than the others

“The colon hydrotherapist has good training and it was the best session I have ever had. I have tried 3 different colon hydrotherapy businesses, and this one is effective and less expensive than the others.”
