Our team recently checked out Safe and Secure Locksmiths Vancouver Ltd, and overall, they’re pretty good. We liked that they’re available 24/7, which sets them apart from others in the area who only work set hours.
Their services cover everything, from homes and businesses to cars. They even do high-security lock installation and key cutting for newer cars with chip keys.
The response time is also a highlight. One former customer got locked out late at night and was surprised when a locksmith showed up within 30 minutes after calling them.
Not only did they unlock the door quickly, but also fixed a poorly installed handle while they were there.
We also like that they’re upfront about costs and don’t try to push expensive upgrades if you don’t need them. There’s an option to rekey rather than fully replace locks, which can save both time and money.
While most of the customers’ stories were nice, one did mention that their newly installed locks started acting up about a month later. It might be a good idea to double-check the work before the tech leaves, just in case.

One thing we liked right away about Houdini Locksmith is that they’re licensed, insured, and have certified professionals on the team. It’s something we always look for when researching any service related to home or car security.
They cover a good range of services, from helping people locked out of their homes to fixing car keys and even installing full-on security systems.
We thought it was especially helpful that they’re available 24/7 and handle both regular and smart locks too.
Multiple customers also mentioned that technicians showed up quickly, usually within 15-40 minutes, even outside regular hours. That’s definitely a win when you’re dealing with an emergency lockout at an inconvenient hour.
And it’s not just about speed. People described their technicians as professional, friendly, and helpful.
One person even mentioned that the technician jumpstarted their car after resolving a lockout. It’s a nice touch that shows they care about the whole customer experience.
That said, pricing might be something to keep an eye on. It’s $75 during regular business hours, which feels fair. However, if you need help after-hours, it jumps to $199. That’s not cheap, especially if it’s a quick fix.

Broadway Locksmith Ltd’s long-running experience stood out to our team. They’ve been around since 1971, and we think you don’t stay in business that long unless you’re doing something right.
They offer a full range of services, so that’s a plus. They even do custom master key systems and high-security locks, which not every locksmith offers.
One thing they seem to really excel at is the rare and hard-to-find keys. If you’ve got a vintage car or an old door lock, this is the place you’re likely to be referred to by other locksmiths.
People have told us that their team are not only friendly but also skilled. One customer had an unusual key issue with a Honda scooter and shared how they figured it out even though it is a really tricky job.
Pricing is fair, especially compared to dealerships or bigger companies. People seem to feel they’re getting good value for what can be very technical work.
That said, they’re not perfect. We came across someone who said the company missed a follow-up appointment and didn’t call to explain. That’s a little frustrating. It’s not a pattern we see repeated often, but it’s worth noting.

It was a surprise to learn that Grizzly Locksmith Inc is a family-run business, led by a father and son. We think this tends to create a more personal and reliable service, and that’s something we noticed from speaking with former clients.
One customer talked about how their technician gave smart and honest advice about improving home security without pushing for unnecessary extras. They even suggested ways to save money, which is always appreciated.
They’re available 24/7 for emergencies and offer same-day service. Their work mainly focuses on residential, commercial, and industrial needs, so they cover a wide range.
We were especially impressed by their expertise in Mul-T Lock high-security systems. These are known for being extra tough against picking and bumping.
Customers also mentioned that they handle all kinds of safes, from simple hotel ones to more advanced fireproof models.
It’s also reassuring to know their technicians are licensed and bonded. They also follow British Columbia’s Security Services Act, which adds a layer of trust.
However, we did come across a few comments about late arrivals. It wasn’t a common complaint, but it’s something to keep in mind if your schedule is tight.
Also, if you’re dealing with automotive key issues, they might not be the perfect locksmith. Their main focus is on buildings and safes.

Our team checked out Mr. Quick Fob, and what makes them unique is their focus on key fobs and garage remotes for both vehicles and condos. It’s a smart, efficient approach that really works for them.
Customers have told us they show up quickly and get the job done in minutes, which is really impressive.
Their pricing is another win. Starting at $40, it’s much cheaper than dealerships, and even some locksmiths. They also give discounts for multiple copies, which is great if you need spares.
We were also impressed by their willingness to clone less common fobs (even if it’s a sticker fob or an unusual condo model). Most locksmiths either turn these down or charge extra. Here, you just send a photo, and they’ll tell you if it’s possible.
That said, we did notice some inconsistencies about the warranty. Some customers got a one-year warranty, while others received a lifetime warranty.
It might depend on the type of fob, but clearer information would help, especially when comparing them to other locksmiths offering the same services. If they could make that more consistent, they’d stand out even more.
