Flexibility is always a big deal to us; that’s why we loved Yaletown Clean’s offerings. Their residential services include options such as one-time, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly cleanings.
What’s even better is that booking is super seamless via their website. Each team member tried it and was able to push through in just a matter of minutes.
The cash-free payments and message feature on the site were also nice bonuses for convenience.
We also loved that they use pet and family-safe products. Though this is a lot more popular nowadays, we find it compelling that their products match the services.
Looking at the post-clean-up results, the service is definitely methodical, which is likely because of how organized they are.
Prices are just relatively higher than most, though we find that the fees aren’t excessive for the workmanship.

We were initially worried that AspenClean only sends teams of 3 cleaners per job. However, we soon find that it’s enough, considering the level of service they’re able to deliver.
Cleaners are punctual, friendly, and have a high attention to detail during the cleaning process. And because there aren’t a lot of people on site, they’re able to move faster, hence, finish on time without delays.
As for products, we liked that they use solutions that are plant-based and hypoallergenic. What this simply means is that they use materials that are safe for the entire family and pets.
On top of that, we’re happy to know that they’re competitively priced within the city’s benchmarks. And with the 24-hour satisfaction guarantee, we feel that clients are getting their money’s worth.
That said, you may actually need that guarantee, as there are minor reports of missed surfaces that are only resolved upon follow-up.

Like most residential cleaners, ProClean offers the basics we’re always looking for: weekly, bi-weekly, and even monthly cleaning plans. But in terms of services, we have to give it to them for their specialized offerings.
A few of their options include carpet and upholstery cleaning and window washing. We find these to be compelling options for those who need targeted cleaning and refreshing.
However, we’re not so pleased when it comes to the consistency of results. A few of the clients we interviewed said that their deep cleaning didn’t meet expectations.
Still, for those who want more affordable services, we find them to be a strong choice. In fact, their rates are well below some premium competitors, with various payment options too, including e-transfer, credit card, and debit.

One of the things we liked about C&M is that they use their own proprietary eco-friendly productions. We didn’t only like it because they’re non-toxic, but also because it ensures better quality control for results across projects.
Their tailored cleaning plans are pretty simple – they’ll send 2 cleaners, with each visit lasting from 3 to 4 hours. With the rate they’re finishing tasks, we find the number of cleaners adequate per job.
What’s even better is that the staff arrives fully equipped and ready to go. During our observations, none of them were ever late, plus they’re very welcoming and friendly, which we appreciate.
However, just like other cleaning companies in this list, there were a few reports of unsatisfactory work. On the good side, there have only been a couple of these reports in the past few years, which still tells us that their service remains solid.

Beyond the results, we appreciate P&J Cleaners for the level they go through to only hire the best of the best. Their cleaners are subject to regular performance evaluations, which is likely why their work has always been consistently good.
Matching up the good service is their good range of safe cleaning solutions. They also have a post-cleaning inspection checklist, which we liked, and can proceed with re-cleaning if something doesn’t meet expectations.
Cost-wise, they offer competitive pricing that doesn’t require contracts. However, this is also where most of the complaints arise, with a few clients noting that they were billed for more hours than necessary.
Fortunately, their customer support is available 24/7 for these kinds of concerns. Trying it out for ourselves, our team was pleased to know that they respond fast and are courteous with inquiries and follow-ups.
